📸 A LITTLE BEHIND THE LENS…
In a world where AI can now remove watermarks from photographs in seconds, being a photographer has become increasingly difficult.
For many of us, photography isn't just a hobby.
It’s how we make ends meet.
It’s how we pay our bills, support our families, and continue serving the communities we love. ❤️
Recently, I've taken a pretty big step back from offering what I call “After Profit” photography — those are the photos where I photograph an event, game, parade, etc., and then hope to be paid afterward when people purchase their images.
Unfortunately, with image theft and AI watermark removal becoming so common, that model has become increasingly difficult to sustain.
And honestly? I wasn't sure what I wanted to do about the Hartford Homecoming Parade this year.
But then I realized something…
I missed it.
I missed being out there. I missed photographing our community.
I missed being involved with the Hartford Bulldogs and getting to capture those little moments that mean so much to the people who live here.
So, here we are. 💜💛
I don't know what the future looks like for After Profit Shoots — whether that means football games, community events, parades, or other local events.
I'm still figuring that out.
But I wanted to share these photos with you because they represent something bigger than just photography.
They represent supporting your local small businesses.
When you hire a local photographer, shop at a local store, eat at a locally owned restaurant, or choose a local service provider, you're helping a real person keep their doors open.
Don't forget about the little guys. ❤️
Every booking, purchase, share, recommendation, and kind word truly makes a difference.
Thank you for continuing to support Ivy and Lace Photography and allowing me to be your local Hartford, Alabama photographer for families, seniors, weddings, babies, sports, and community events.
