Weddings can be stressful, but I always tell my couples: you walk away with memories, photos, and your relationship. Sometimes my clients look at the camera, smile their brightest smile, and I snap a perfect, frame-ready shot.

And then sometimes I get a snap of their most fabulous, goofiest selves, and SOMETIMES the light is also amazing, and maybe also if I’m lucky nobody’s blinking and it all comes together in a cornucopia of joyful flair.

Did anyone else have that book read to them constantly as a kid? I have my own version of the melody that my mom sang, and while I’m sure everyone has a different one, I’ll never forget mine. I’ve read that book to several young children in my adulthood and I love to sing it just the way my mama did.

Danielle and her sweet family were the winners of my recent giveaway. They drove all the way from Lake County for our session, and we ran around the park with her 3 mobile children, and stared adoringly at her tiny new baby.
