El Salvador: Part 1! A group of 12 of us went to El Salvador to examine and give out prescription eye glasses to the people in the rural areas that normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to see an eye Dr!
Over 4 days we went to a senior care home and saw all the people there, and then for the next 3 days we set up shop at a local church. We saw over 1,300 people and gave out usually 2 pairs of glasses to each patient. Distance and reading.
Some people came in with prescriptions of at least -8.0 that have never had the chance to wear glasses. If you know prescriptions…that’s practically blind.
The people of El Salvador were so kind and appreciative and I can’t wait to go back. 💕
