Fun fact: Colton stops and picks Saige wildflowers everytime he sees them. I’ve witnessed it many times. This time was no different. Camera or not, there was no prompt, no direction, just a simple action to grab something pretty for Saige. Sobbing. 😭💓

I love how well they balance each other out. Colton is high energy, upbeat, and the crazy while Saige is mellow, thoughtful, and so supportive.💌

Another fun fact: Colton wanted to do this pose. We love the golden retriever boyfriends🦮

Kaylyn and Kasen are truly the most beautiful match. Kaylyn and I have been friends since childhood so to see her with the love of her life was truly so touching. I kept myself together during the wedding day but believe me, I was crying like a baby editing this.

These two unknowingly pushed me out of my comfort zone. I actually only did video for Utah FFA and that was IT. I was scared of it. Truthfully, I still kind of am. It’s a whole different ball game. Kaylyn and Kaden trusted me though I was brand new to the game. I will never be able to thank them enough for that💌

It’s always such an honor to do the portraits for Union Drill. The girls are ALWAYS so kind, so helpful, and so respectful. Seeing the love the coaches have for them and the love they have for one another is so special.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The support from Roosevelt peeps is unmatched. I’ve received so much love from Union students and their families. I’m so so grateful. I hadn’t ever been mistaken for a Roosevelt local until taking Union Drill’s pictures last summer. I consider myself extremely lucky to be mistaken for one based solely on how much business I have been given over there💓

Each and every one of these women have talent I admire. They’re women honing in their crafts and creativity all while infusing their life joys into it. Whether it’s their babies or their ag roots, all eight of these women are inspiring to me.🌱

Working and learning on your own comes with teaching yourself but what I never expected was to experience so much kindness over the years from individuals who didn’t HAVE to help me. They wanted to. They wanted to share what they’ve learned. Be like these women and be the kind of person to uplift others. Think about the impact kindness can do for someone. Keep going & achieving your goals, honing in your passions, and do it all while choosing to be openly kind💓

I met Max a few years ago through his brother, Judd. Max is just shy of 7’ tall and I go up to his hip on a good day. He’s a gentle giant. He’s as kind as he is tall and it’s been an honor to see him continue to grow. After the loss of Judd, it was such an important thing to me to continue to check in with Max no matter how much time passed. Maximillian reminds me of Juddy Wuddy. Everytime I get a Snapchat or see Max, I always know Judd would be so proud of him. Max was Judd’s pride and joy, next to his truck of course. & it makes me immensely happy to see Max still driving his truck & making it his own while still keeping Judd’s baby dragging Main. If you knew Judd, you knew Max. That’s just how it was. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to continue to rub shoulders with the Mitchell family even with our friend missing.💓

Capturing moments will always be something I’m extremely lucky to do. I took pictures of Judd with all of the boys on their trucks prior to his passing & I kick myself everyday for not saving them somewhere first. You will never regret taking the picture. I have never once been mad at myself for taking too many pictures. Don’t wait to take the picture or the video. Don’t wait to lose the weight or till you’re “ready” for them. Those candid moments make it real. They will be what you look back on & remember that that snippet in time was raw & it was real.
