Hi everyone 🤍
I’m putting this out there in hopes that the right person sees it!
My husband and I are starting the search for a new place to rent. We know how tough the housing situation is right now, and we understand that what we’re looking for may be a lot in today’s market. Our current landlord has been so good to us, and we would absolutely stay if we could — but for health and mobility reasons, we need to begin exploring other options.
What we’re looking for:
• 2–3 bedroom apartment or house
• Ground floor or minimal stairs preferred
• A yard (this is important for us)
• Within 30 minutes of Tupper Lake (not directly in Tupper Lake), but for the right place we could go up to 40 minutes
• Preferably closer to the Hermon side of Tupper Lake vs. the Saranac Lake side, if possible
• Budget: up to $1,000/month
A little about us:
We’re both full-time, hardworking professionals, and I’m also currently in grad school working toward my Master’s in Social Work. We’ve been in our current rental for almost 5 years, so we’re very consistent, respectful, and reliable tenants.
We can provide income verification, landlord references, and personal references if needed.
We also have 3 well-trained, potty-trained, super friendly dogs (one is a registered ESA) — they’re very well cared for and part of our family.
We are not in a huge rush, but within the next 6 months or so we would love to find something that is a bit safer and more mobility-friendly for our needs.
I know this might be a long shot, but if anyone knows of anything available (or coming up soon), we would be so grateful if you reached out or pointed us in the right direction.
Thank you all so much 🫶
