Last year, I met this family right before Dad deployed. Recently, I had the honor of welcoming him home the best way I know how—by capturing their beach memories back together.

In the time they spent apart, I’ve photographed over 100 other families. It’s a humbling reminder that this job is about so much more than just taking pictures.

I am endlessly grateful for the people I get to meet. Thank you to our service members and their families for your sacrifices.

It was the perfect night for this beautiful family. I love capturing generations photos. It's pretty clear who this family got their beauty from.

One of the wildest but most memorable sessions thus far. We started the session and made our way to the beach, then watched a straight line rain heading our way. We attempted to get a few photos then rushed off the beach.

We then waited in the car and decided to see if the rain would pass and it finally did 6minutes before sunset. So we practically ran back to the beach to get these perfectly beautiful shots!
