My journey in the realm of professional photography began back in 2004, right here in the San Francisco Bay Area. It all started with capturing the energy and essence of local events, a humble beginning that would set the stage for an incredible adventure. Little did I know that my path would eventually lead me to become a part of Team USA's journey through the last 7 Olympic Games. This unique op

portunity allowed me to freeze moments of determination, triumph, and unity, showcasing the spirit of the Olympics through my lens. My love for photography isn't limited to grand events. It extends to the personal and the intimate, to the stories of individuals and businesses. And as much as I adore capturing moments, I'm equally passionate about sharing knowledge. Teaching photography has taken me around the world – from the vast landscapes of Africa to the bustling streets of India, and everywhere in between. When I stand behind the lens, I strive to do more than just take pictures. I aim to freeze emotions, to capture the essence of moments that words alone can't convey. This is what drives me, what fuels my journey every day. An artist, a teacher, a storyteller – this is the spirit of Jeff Cable, and I'm honored to share it with the world. Take a close look at the incredible yellow spots on this Glass Frog. Their vivid pattern and translucent body make this tiny amphibian one of the rainforest's most fascinating and photogenic creatures. Simply amazing!

Richard Bernabe asked me some very unique questions for his "Beyond the Lens" podcast. I really enjoyed talking about how I got started in this business. The first part of the interview is about my relationship with Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple Computer, and how he influenced my career in photography.

This morning we were up early on the roof of one of the buildings at the resort. Lucky for us, a couple of Scarlet macaw flew in for us. I LOVE these birds!

YES - THIS REALLY HAPPENED YESTERDAY!!!

We were photographing wildlife on the water here in Costa Rica and these two spotted dolphins jumped out of the water together. I quickly swung the camera over and grabbed this shot. My favorite of the trip!
