Is your junior talking about senior photos? Yep! Now is the time to get on the calendar. July and August sessions can be warm but the flowers and sunsets can't be beat! Booking in the summer allows you to have your photos in time for the back to school start of their senior year!

(UPDATE!) Wow. How things have changed. I'm not sure how much I want to share or how much people truly care about the details but what I want you to know is this!
The repeat photography clients I have had over the years have truly become like family. I appreciate every single one of you for trusting me over the years. Although my photography families have been everything to me, a lot has changed.
For probably a million combinations of reasons, I took a full-time job this past September and truthfully I've told almost no one that- I barely told my extended family at Christmas time. (I'm sorry if you're finding out here!) It's been... an adjustment to say the least.
So without making you read a novel about this, here's what I will say. My photography business is still an active business (despite my lack of social media posts). As you can imagine, I have (and will be) taking on way less sessions. I have entirely dismantled and sold my in-home newborn items over the past winter. My focus for 2026 will be family, extended family, and senior sessions which will all occur outdoors. My current full time job allows me to have off in the summertime which I feel so fortunate about because I can garden to my hearts desire and travel around and spend the last few summers with my kids that they have left at home. (For those who know me, I'll be photographing my OWN daughter's senior photos this summer.) 😭
This also leaves me with some great summer time photography session opportunities, which leads me to this: my calendar is open from now through September 15th. There was less than 20 sessions on there to start for a six month time span. I will do two dates of fall minis to be released in August. Everything in my life feels bittersweet right now. I hope you can still continue to be there with me, through all of these crazy seasons of life. I love you all. I hope to see you soon!

This weeks senior spotlight is Gabby! I've had the honor of getting to know Gabby and her family through the years of many family photo sessions. I am beyond in love with Finley's annual milestone session in my greenhouse! I just truly appreciate her mama for trusting me year after year and this year was no different! We were looking for something colorful and spring-y and Finley just nailed it. 🌱
