Beautiful Canyon Falls often called the "Grand Canyon of the UP," is a stunning scenic gorge just a short walk off US-41 just 15 miles south of L'Anse. Canyon Falls cuts through a rugged rock gorge for awesome views.
Easy hike, big reward—and a great place for a family outing.
Just one of the many waterfalls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula that’s worth checking out.

The Edwin H. Gott was the second freighter to pass through the Soo Locks this season, and we Gott this amazing photo from aboard the Dirk S. VanEnkevort while both ships were tied up at the northeast pier, waiting for the locks to open.

Shipping season is officially OPEN, and this is just the beginning! 🚢 We’re beyond excited to be back at it, with a busy and action‑packed summer ahead out on the water.
