It still feels surreal to even share this 💔

Arrangement for services have been made for this Friday evening, 9.11 at 6:30PM

Also I just wanted to say thank you for everyone who has shown up, poured out prayers, thoughts and tears- for and with us.

We have genuinely felt all of it… I have felt an outpouring of love and support from your words, felt healing in the tears you have poured out with us, felt a sense of peace at times that trascends all understanding, a sense of strength when I felt like I physically could not go on…

I’ve been reminded that God is not just good, but God IS Love, and I’ve never felt that more than I have this last week.

Thank you to ECFR, our family & our friends nearby who are physically holding us up with tasks we can barely perform & food we can’t think to make, and our friends afar from congregations around the country sending us love , my wedding vendors friends who saved my butt this last weekend, wedding vendor friends who reached out to help coordinating everything for the services for my dad, even to LITERAL strangers… but especially to my husband Thomas who is my living breathing comfort ❤️ And thank you for all the prayers, It all is being felt more than you can even know during utter devastation.

My heart has shattered into a million pieces. Barely breathing, I have to share that we lost my dad very suddenly this past Sunday. If you knew my dad…you loved my dad.

His heart’s capacity to love and care for others was endless. Epitome of give the shirt off his back kind of man. His brilliant mind could figure just about anything out and His corny sense of humor could make anyone smile and laugh. That’s how I always want to remember him, telling jokes and laughing. That was my last memory with him, sitting at my kitchen table cracking up at his jokes. He radiated warmth to me.

Whenever I called, for whatever, however many times - he always responded right away and he told me it was his privilege to be there for me. He never made anyone feel as though they were a burden.

He lived his life dedicated in service of others- God, his wife, his kids, his friends, his patients, even strangers.

He truly was made the absolute best as they come, and I will forever be daddy’s girl 💔

I promise daddy You will never be forgotten and I will never let your pain mean nothing, you will always mean everything.

That little “we’re married!!” walk back to all your favorite people 🥰

Not every moment of your wedding day needs to become a production.

Sometimes it’s simply an unplanned moment. The two of you casually walking into cocktail hour, Spanish moss overhead, your people enjoying themselves in front of your gorgeous venue- and that very real excitement of realizing “we actually just did that!!”

These are the parts of a wedding day that just happen and I’m ready for 🤩

Of course we’ll create the beautiful portraits, and times of the day where guidance makes the photograph better. But I also want you to have space to actually experience your wedding while I pay attention to what’s unfolding around you.

The big moments. The beautiful setting. Your people. And little pieces like this that might not have been on a shot list at all—but somehow end up feeling exactly like the day ✨

Because the best wedding stories aren’t manufactured, They’re lived. And thoughtfully preserved along the way. 🤍

Classic doesn’t have to mean stiff 🤍

There are some photographs every wedding gallery simply needs—the beautifully composed portrait looking at the camera, the one your parents will frame, and the one that will still feel just as beautiful decades from now.

But classic should never mean lifeless.

Even in the most traditional portraits, I’m paying attention to body language, facial expressions, light, and all those tiny adjustments that make an image feel natural instead of overly posed.

And once we have the shot? I love to let it breathe, or softly add a little movement. A prompt. Or Someone starts laughing. Or You lean into each other. And suddenly we have the photograph you needed and the moments that feel unmistakably like you.

Because I don’t think you should have to choose between timeless and real.

You deserve both ✨

You can have the beautiful, classic portrait AND the one that feels like you. 🤍

Give me the beautifully composed bridesmaid portrait everyone will want framed—but then give me what happens five seconds later.

The laugh that breaks out. The way everyone falls back into being themselves. The flowers you spent months choosing held between you.

That’s the story I want to tell.

A little polished. A little playful. And plenty of space for the people you love to simply be themselves.

Because years from now, you’ll want the portrait that shows you how beautiful everyone looked—but I have a feeling you’ll really love the ones that remind you exactly how it felt to have your girls beside you.

Okay, but has there ever been a more Lowcountry cake cutting? 🤍

A beautiful cake. The white front porch of The Admiral’s House. Mossy Oaks sprawling behind. And cutest newlyweds center of it all 🤩

It’s one of those classic wedding traditions that becomes something a little more magical when the setting is this good✨

And I love that years from now, this photograph won’t just remind them of cutting their wedding cake—it will remind them exactly where they were. The warmth, the trees, the porch, the feeling of celebrating in a place that could only be the Lowcountry!

Honestly… give me a white Southern porch and mossy oaks and I’m happy. 😍🥰

Moss-draped oaks, soft Southern light, and a few quiet minutes at Magnolia to simply be the bride.

Captured on digital + medium format film for that softness, depth, and little bit of magic that makes a moment feel almost dreamlike.

Because the setting can be breathtaking—but you’re still the moment. 🎞️

Not every wedding day goes exactly as planned. And honestly? Sometimes that’s where the magic lives ✨

When rain arrived at Palmetto Bluff for Matt & Jessi, we simply leaned into it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We moved between the charming porch, beautiful indoor spaces, and stole outdoor moments whenever the skies gave us a chance. The timeline shifted, the plans adapted, and through it all, what mattered most remained exactly the same: two people celebrating the beginning of their marriage surrounded by the people they love most.

One of my favorite things about Palmetto Bluff is that it photographs beautifully no matter what the weather decides to do. The architecture, the covered walkways, the moss-draped landscapes, the warm interiors—it all becomes part of the story!

And in the end, that’s what weddings are really about. Not perfect weather. Not perfect timelines. Just beautiful moments, genuine connection, and the joy of marrying your best friend.

Now that I’ve wrapped up the first half of my 2026 season, I’m excited to showcase all the epic days I got to be a part of!

Starting with this intimate wedding with ceremony in downtown Savannah and reception over at the grey!

Focused on the couple, their iconic vows and a small celebration with their closest family and friends- I loved every second spent with them. I laughed, cried and made some sweet friends 🥰

Definitely a day to remember 🥂

You don’t need to stress about hands (just hold each other!), or whether your smile looks perfect (smile at your person!), or if you’re doing ‘enough’ in front of the camera (enjoy each moment!)
