Another crazy story...WHEN ROCKET SCIENTISTS GET ENGAGED…

Meet Monika & Tom — TWO aerospace engineers currently working on the Artemis III rocket! 🚀 Yes… actual rocket scientists. No pressure planning a proposal for these two.

They met on their very first day of work and have been dating for 3 years.

For the proposal, we sent Monika & Tom on a photo scavenger hunt through Forsyth Park! Every clue started with:

“It’s a person, place or thing…”

Some were easy. Some… definitely required a little more engineering. Luckily, they had the answers if they got stuck!

Then came the FINAL clue.

Monika had to read it out loud:

“This person met the love of his life, who showed him how to love, and through whatever obstacles, you taught him to be the very best man he can be. This person cannot imagine his life without you.”

WHO IS THIS PERSON?

Monika looked at Tom… completely shocked… and of course figured it out.

SHE SAID YES!!! 🚀

And a HUGE shoutout to my best friend TiffanyChip Sullivan I recently had a small surgery that has temporarily kept me from carrying cameras around my waist, so she was my right hand all day — carrying gear, helping every step of the way AND even shooting some video for me.

Could NOT have done this one without her!

Congratulations, Monika & Tom! Now go build that rocket… you have a wedding to plan.

Ya'll got to hear this...so at 3pm today I get a call "This is last minute request..." ((which could mean this weekend)) and then he continued "But the photo company we hired can't find a photographer and we are getting married in 1 hour."
1 Hour!!!
In the rain. 30 mins away from me... and actually more money than I charge! So although the day did not start out how they wanted it, it ended exactly how they imagined it.
P.S. Some of these "photo companies" don't care about you and it's sad. I wish I could say this was the first time this has happened. It is NOT, so hire someone with a ton of reviews and lots of experience!

I’ve got a secret to a perfect champagne shake. Yes you can do both- have photos of the toast + the explosion. You just have to do it in the right order.
1. Don’t shake it right away! Most people want to do that first but hold off.
2. Open the bottle gently.
3. Pour the champagne into glasses- smile, clink, get those photos first.
4. Now put your thumb over the bottle top. Get into position, don’t point it at anyone- usually the side is best- Now SHAKE HARD.
You will feel it wanting to explode- just let it go and don’t forget to smile!

1. Easy (they have a plan + it works!)
2. Beautiful (can’t get a better sunset pic! Check it out^)
3. Local- we can get photos on River St & Bay st and the boat is right there.
4. Yummy - I love the food, so delicious.
5. All Inclusive - chairs, officiant , food - you don’t need much more!
