Just as we finished a yummy dinner at the Wyld Dockside Restaurant overlooking the marsh near Sullivan’s island this full rainbow appeared. The perfect end of a wonderful dinner.

It's always good to see my work appreciated by the clients I shoot for. Yesterday, I was at the Kamala Harris event, working for The Associated Press, covering Harris from the riser. This morning, I got a text from an AP editor in Miami informing me that one of my photos appeared in AP's weekly wrap-up, AP Week in Picture. It's humbling to be recognized alongside some of the best photos and photographers in the world.

Enjoy!

Aug. 23-29, 2024 Spain’s annual Tomatina street battle took place in the eastern town of Buñol, where workers on trucks tipped more tons of overripe tomatoes into the main street of the town for participants to throw.

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. Mostly because I get to experience new cultures and traditions.
One culture is pretty much universal. Where is the bathroom. We all have to go!
In Montreal this seems to be the best way to communicate the nearby pit stop.

Here’s a nice reward for a hard days work covering Savannah’s 200th anniversary of the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
For years I’ve learned to “let go” after sending in my photos. I’ve learned from years of client choosing the worst of the group of photos I’ve sent, or played them the size of a postage stamp. I’ve learned to let go of control, trust, hope and desire.
Today it was refreshing to wake and see a client get it right and, more importantly, exceeded my expectations.

On Assignment for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution covering Breonna Moffett's homecoming.

Savannah's streets were lined with people paying their respects Thursday as Sgt. Breonna Moffett’s remains were returned to her hometown ahead of Saturday's funeral. Moffett was one of three Georgia reservists killed in last month's drone attack in Jordan.

Last Saturday I was asked to lead a group of photographers on a cell phone photo safari at The Ford. We stared as a group of 12 but the cold trimmed us to five. It was 40 degrees and windy, so hats off to those who braved one of the coldest days this year.
Here are a few of my photos from the trip. You can search to see their cell phone images.
