Happy Mothers Day to all the beautiful, powerful, magical mothers 🤍

Wedding day is a wonderful time to celebrate your relationship with your family. Whether it’s dedicating a dance to them, sharing a special moment with them, or honoring them throughout the day.

I am so grateful to witness such beautiful relationships grow stronger as your celebration unfolds. Wishing all the mothers a day that reflects just how much you mean to your families and radiates how special you are 🤍

In 2018, I accidentally photographed a Haldi Ceremony in JPEG. Can you tell?

Probably not. But something I noticed while revisiting these images from Ana and Abishek’s wedding weekend, is although years have passed and photography trends have changed, I still search for those raw moments that fill your gallery with excitement.

Whether it’s glances at your family during getting ready, or in this case, Abishek sharing the Haldi blessings with guests, my team and I are always on- seeking these moments that tell the story of your wedding day.

If you’re not a photographer, you may not understand why we shoot images in RAW format. It preserves all data so we can retouch the photos without issue. With a jpeg image, a lot of details cannot be recovered. So if the photos were shot in a dark space or highlights were blown out, it’s difficult to save.

An experienced photographer will expose the images properly as they shoot, which is why these jpeg files are still beautiful 8 years later.

And don’t worry, the rest of the wedding weekend I photographed it in RAW format.

When couples weave their story into their wedding, it’s sure to create a one of a kind celebration full of sentimentality.

When your family is part of a popular Savannah dining experience, why wouldn’t you invite your guests to experience dinner in the restaurant?

After a ceremony surrounded by oaks, guests enjoyed a trolley ride through the historic district that dropped them off at Daniel and Alexis’ family’s restaurant. After a carefully prepared meal, guests celebrated all night under a tent in the property’s gardens.

Elevating your wedding experience by embracing your favorite destination, honoring family history, and touching on each of the five senses, is sure to make your celebration feel so personal.

As Mara & Ryan celebrate their first anniversary, let’s take a look back at their post wedding weekend portraits.

We carefully carve out time on wedding day to photograph portraits of your families, wedding party, and the two of you. Timelines shift, your vendors pivot, and we confidently photograph all the important moments as they happen. Whether the rain calls for a reschedule of portraits of the two of you, or you want an excuse to wear your wedding attire again, a post wedding portrait session is a great way to comfortably photograph your portraits.

This slower paced session can be photographed at your venue or another sentimental place, like Isle of Hope, which is so special to Mara’s family. We explored the waterfront and played with poses we didn’t have time for on wedding day.

A few in-between moments I enjoyed capturing at Erin and David’s wedding in Highlands, NC.

We are always searching the room, reacting to the emotions that you and your guests are experiencing throughout the day. Finding pockets of moments that you may have missed and details you don’t want to forget- Like this winding path Erin took with her sister in law as she met David for their first look.

Choosing a photographer who will intuitively seek these sweet details will fill your wedding album with impactful images.

Lindsey and Connor made a quick trip down to Hilton Head to finalize some details for their wedding day.

In this season where every decision feels urgent and time moves faster than you expected, it’s important to slow down and enjoy every moment with your partner. During their quick visit, they made time to photograph their engagement session. We caught up on wedding day details, learned more about each other, and the two of them got to experience being in front of the camera.

While connecting with your photographer before wedding day is something I value, it’s more important for the two of you to pause and spend time together- smiling at one another, embracing each other, laughing through poses. It’s a great reminder to be fully present through this exciting season of your life.

Wedding weekend is full of greetings, quick hugs and conversations, and following a timeline. Take breaths in between those moments to center back to each other. Breathe in the celebration and lock eyes with each other. Those are the moments I enjoy photographing the most.

Something about destination venue walk throughs really inspire and excite us for our couples wedding celebration. Seeing the property through their eyes, learning about why the location is so special to them, exploring the experiences that are sure to wow their guests. It’s all part of the story we are documenting.

A site visit can help your photo and video team recommend the right start time for portraits, the direction your ceremony should face for the best light, and what spaces on property will frame the important moments.

These visits not only help you visualize the details you chose, but ensure that your vendor team is prepared for your day, with plans a, b, and c, thought out well before any changes need to be made due to weather or time constraints.

This visit to got us so excited to photograph here again soon 🤍

last week in Savannah was a truly special experience. Artists from across the country connected and collaborated while learning from some of the industry’s greatest.

Day 2 included a private tea in the ever so chic . Our host, , a SCAD alumni, knew this was the perfect setting for our wedding illustrators to learn from . Surrounded by southern charm, attendees explored around town between workshops.

It was really neat to learn about this ever growing art form in the wedding industry.

I had the best time hosting my annual favorite things party 🎁 this year, we did something really special.

Instead of gifting each other gifts, we brought a gift from our three Angels’ wish lists to make their Christmas magical. Thanks to the help of my friends, we gifted them everything and more on their wish lists.

It was so wonderful celebrating the season with these ladies and I’m already looking forward to this holiday tradition next year.

As wedding season slows down, I’m reflecting on this incredible year with so much gratitude.

Our team has documented weddings all across Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Florida. Every event was full of thoughtful details, special connections, unforgettable moments. I am so grateful for all the couples and vendor partners who trusted us to photograph and content create these exceptional events throughout the southeast.

This year I rebranded, relaunched my website, and connected with so many families that valued my work and my style. Of course it’s a huge honor when someone chooses me to document their day, but even conversations with couples who went in a different direction validate that my images reflect the heart behind what I do. It’s about creating meaningful art, and connecting with people who value the being fully present and trust their creative team wholeheartedly.

Huge thank you to my content creation team and for all of your hard work documenting the in-between memories. Special thank you to my second photographers , , and for capturing all the special moments that fill our couples galleries with intention.

Looking forward to serving looks 💁🏽‍♀️ and serving my couples next wedding season.
