When you play dress up but have nowhere to go this so you step up your photoshoot game instead!πŸ™ˆ

It's my sister-in-law's very first official cosplay, she made her overall Capt. Jack Sparrow costume and props from scratch! This was her first time making everything herself and she almost cried, almost gave up, and almost threw everything away during the process but glad she pushed through with it...just feel super proud of her!!

Do not give up! Keep your passion burning, Keep going, Keep making, Keep creating!

Life isn't always full of sunshine and rainbows.
Just like the weather, sometimes it's gloomy,
it's stormy, it's dark. And I think it's okay...
To feel sad sometimes...to not be okay.
It's just part of being human, of being vulnerable, of living.
The journey to overcoming the pain, the sorrow and the dark
bring depth to this very fragile life. Everything is a part of your story.
It might be stormy now, but it can't rain forever.
Hang in there my fellow living, breathing, human.

One year portrait session break due to the pandemic led me to work on improving my craft. It also got more clearer to me where I would want to go with my photography career moving forward. Cute love story:

Jen has a love for cars, she loves driving and she's always wanted a Subaru Forester.

While being faithful where she was and with what she has, she waited to have it in the right time and also began praying for a future partner.

It took some years before God revealed to her the "One".

A time came when she had to move to another country to further her career, little did she know that this move's tied with her destiny and will lead her to the promise she's been long waiting for.

After arriving in the country, she met Jess, who happens to be in the same career field and owns a Black Subaru Forester.

They became friends and talked about cars which they both love and she told Jess that she's planning to buy the same car that he has. Jess didn't believe her at first because a lot of people told him the same thing but never did it. To his surprise, Jen did buy a White Subaru Forester!πŸ˜‚ He often asked Jen how the car's doing til it got to the point when he only asked about how she's doing.

After getting to know each other, Jess courted Jen and they dated. It didn't take long for Jess to figure out that she's the One for him and he then proposed to her.

Next year they will be tying the knot!

While pondering, Jen realizes that even if it took years of waiting, God didn't fail her and was faithful to His promise to her. He knew all her heart's desires and gave them in the right and perfect time..

And in the end she was able to say that it was all worth waiting for.

I love goofy couples like Liz and Ryan! There's just never a dull moment with them! They always love to laugh together and have fun. One of the moments that was memorable for me during our shoot was when they mentioned that when they argue, the tension doesn't usually last long because they instantly go back to their goofy funny selves. I think that is something beautiful and valuable that can be learned from their relationship. They know what truly matters most.❀️
