Years & years ago I fell in love with someone who was one of the reasons I fell in love with photography. He was an extraordinary photographer himself, and I remember that he commented on how the last shot on the roll of film was always somehow special.
Maybe, he said, it was because you weren't wanting to spend that last frame until you saw "the shot", or maybe it was because you could truly see your subject better by the time you'd spent a roll or two of film looking at them. Regardless, he said, the last shot of the session was often the best.
For twenty or so years now, I've noticed that he was right -- the last shot more often than not somehow speaks to me. So with that, I'll share with you the last shot for Carpe Diem Studio - images from the official last session. I like them -- they speak to me. : )
