Sierra, Eli & Levi! 💕 Part 1 out of 2. I had the honor of taking Sierra’s maternity pics awhile back. We had another session after Levi was born and now THIS. ✨ How has he grown up so much?! The universal joke is - how are our children growing up so much and we stay the same age? 😅 There’s a perceived pause. Almost like a trapeze artist suspended in the air - that breathless moment as the crowd witnesses two acrobats float mid air and then connect strength and life. There are moments like that in my experience (as a bonus mom/in motherhood). Time suspends, draws out and then - smack. The reality of it all cracks its whip. Time is short. That’s why I love helping capture family moments. It all goes by rapidly. Be intentional. Be real. Be messy. Be loving. Forgive. Forgive yourself, forgive them. Learn. Build. Encourage. Over and over again. It’s one of the most worthy things you can do in this world as a dad or a mom. 💜👍

Kara’s maternity shoot! Kara and Jason are about to begin the incredible adventure of parenthood, and I’m so excited for them. Some photoshoots leave you feeling deeply grateful, and this was one of them. ✨

Spending the day with Christine was such a gift. Beyond being incredibly talented, she is one of those rare people with a truly deep, kind, beautiful soul. The kind of person you can adventure with for hours and somehow also have the kind of conversations that stay with you long after the day ends.

We spent the afternoon exploring the cliffs at Cape Kiwanda, sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful conversations while taking in the wild beauty around us. 🌊 The whole shoot felt epic. Towering cliffs, endless ocean views, dramatic skies, and the wind catching her flowing golden dress in the most magical way. It felt cinematic… like stepping into a moment that was bigger than all of us.

So grateful for days filled with creativity, adventure, and people who radiate so much light. Christine, celebrating you was such a joy! 💛✨

A glimpse into my day - I took Talulah, my beloved 12 year old “super-mutt” to the vet to get her ears checked out. For those of you who haven’t met her, she is an absolute saint. Her soul is love, grace and sunshine. She’s seen me through thick and thin. I’ll never deserve her. To make up for the stress at the vet I took her to a local park and we rambled around. It was blissful. A much needed pause. This evening I’ll be photo editing away! Sharing some Talu love your way, peeps! 🐶💕

Junie’s birthday was on May 4th so, before too much time slipped away I did a birthday shoot with her today. She’s still just as sassy and sweet as ever. Quick, nimble, food obsessed, too smart for her own good and such a cuddle bug. We love our June Bug Jubilee. 💕 Here’s to 2 years, little red! 🎉🌸🎂
