This right here! God meets us where we are at! No matter our heart's condition he wants us to call on him and be his! It is through our giving up our hearts to Jesus and getting to know him and grow in him where change and true healing takes place. However, we have to take the first step! Jesus my heart is yours! Amen.

God is more interested in what’s going on inside of you than He is with how you look or what you do. Proverbs 4:23 says it this way: Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it (NIV). The condition of our heart is important because everything starts there.

Spring means renewal, and it's the perfect time to remember that Jesus died on the cross so we might be renewed, pure, and stainless! It's the perfect time to renew our commitment to Christ Jesus. Lord Jesus, we believe in you and we praise you and thank you for dying on the cross for us. We thank your for bearing the weight of our sins so that we might have life and be in our father God's presence. Help us Lord, to actively follow you and invite you into our daily lives. Help us to use our renewed selves through your grace and mercy to love others and show them your love! Amen. Praise Jesus!

Good morning and Happy New Year!! I went to Northway Church today and Pastor Buddy's message was really good. Called out all the crazy control freaks, A.K.A, me! He said its time to free yourself from the obsession over and worrying over and trying to change things you DO NOT have any control over. Focus on what you do have control over, which is YOU.....your thoughts, feelings, and actions. You will never control others thoughts feelings or actions but you can influence them by the way you react to them and the curve balls life throws at you. We are missing out on the real purpose in life, to help and enjoy one another when we are stuck trying to control the uncontrollable. Stop missing out on life and start choosing to live it! Thanks Pastor Buddy! I totally needed that! Anyone else struggle with anger, worry, and control issues?? Praise Jesus we do not have to be stuck there!! Focus on Jesus and what he says about your thoughts and actions and you will find you get better reactions in all areas of your life!

Struggling? Take heart because God knows, he knows you, he knows your enemies, he knows the truth, he knows everything!! (Hebrews 4:13) He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you! (Jeremiah 29:11). He is for you, so who can be against you? No one!! (Romans 8:31) So no matter what you are going through, be encouraged because he will will give you comfort, strength, hope and peace!! (Isaiah 41:10) He is faithful and he will protect you!! (2 Thessalonians 3:3) All you have to do do is believe in him! (John 3:16) So be still and know that he is God!!(Psalm 46:10)

Happy Mother's Day..... let's remember to praise and thank God for the mothers in our lives today. Give them all the honor they deserve! Motherhood is a journey where learning and growth take place along the way.....remember no one is perfect. There is no love like that of a mother's love. As a mom I can say mothers try the very best they can to do the very best for you!

My verse for today....Philippians 4:6 Worry is a natural response we have to something scary, uncomfortable, and/or unknown. However, worry can go beyond natural and become debilitating. Right now worry and panic is spreading world wide over COVID-19. I am not sure about you, but I do not want to give the devil a foothold. I do not want to give him the ability to debilitate me over this virus. Yes I will be careful, yes I will do my best to follow CDC guidelines. I will check the news once a day to stay educated about the virus then go about my day. I will not live my life in fear. I will wake up every morning and thank God for his protection. I will pray and ask him to watch over me and keep my family friends and loved ones safe. I will ask him to give me discernment and guidance about my choices throughout today. I will seek forgiveness for my short comings. I will keep my faith...I will continue believing in my all knowing, all powerful, unconditionally loving God. I will pray continually throughout each day, focusing on the blessing he has bestowed upon me.
