It's not as flat as everyone says it is; we love our corn and some days can be found happy dancing in the nearest sunflower field in the summer! I have two lil' bambinos and a husband who keeps our household moving as I am out photographing the world! He is kind of the most amazing guy ever, and our children are the absolute best kiddos! They keep us laughing every single day and it is the best th

ing to come home to every night! I am not a big fan of listing in any sort of order certain specialties what I photograph; what I can say out loud is that I adore this beautiful planet and my favorite thing about my job is photographing the super cool humans who live on it! I delivered a Wedding Collection last night and will be starting on Senior Proofing Galleries this week before diving into two more Weddings (to process and deliver full galleries) the following week!

I love how still images can still send us right back to their day; the feeling of air conditioning and sticky tape from wrapping boutonnieres to the warmth of the sun and the stillness that came before formal photos began. The hugs of loved ones that come at just the right moment and the joy of conversations before dinner begins with friends.

Each Wedding that I photograph gives that kind magic; knowing how special it is to have pets with you on your big day, family and friends who travel from near and far...just for you

I'll never forget where I was the first time my sister said, "Oh my gosh, next year is Conner's Senior year!" and I burst into tears...not because he was growing so fast, but because I would get to do for my own family what I get to do for the hundreds of families that I have photographed over the years.

These past couple of days I got to do the same thing for my youngest niece! Last year we traveled through country roads and atop parking garages with her sister for her Senior peektures and this year, we stopped into my flower shop job to visit Jana n' friends and got up early to chase those magic balloons!

My heart is so full sharing this gift with my sister and her kiddos!

The greatest gathering, in the most special place with the most special people.

The tears were a plenty, the laughter just as much all while the sun went to rest, blanketing the farm with light and love!

To my friend, I can't type without all the tears finding their way in again.

THANK YOU for having Annie and I to share your special day with! We had the best time sharing with all of your friends and family!
