The day began cold and a lil' snowy, a bit of quiet rain and joyful nerves.

Soon, family began to arrive as details were photographed and hair and makeup was happening. As I joined them, we giggled through cheers of drinks and found magic tricks in a perfume cap ;)

The sun came out after their ceremony for just a few fleeting moments, during family portraits and tucked back away just in time for us to head down to the water. Maybe only one or two other people ever were nearby, a few happy honks came from the road above and we continued with portraits until the sun was nearly gone for good.

It's rare, the kind of day where the wedding couple gets ready together, where they share moments welcoming their family as they arrive prior to sharing their vows on the literal side of a mountain.

Precious tears of all kinds fell from those who came, reminding us all how special their day meant to all of them.

Simply!

Memories made and love celebrated!

THANK YOU, endlessly, for having Annie and I to share this most joyous day with you all! We were welcomed instantly, stood side by side with those playing witness to your moments, and left with our own hearts so full!

It's been quiet here on the FB Fan page as I've been working through the busy season!

AGAIN I'll say, THANK YOU ALL for keeping me so busy this year, it has been the adventure of a lifetime!

After I prepare full color edits of HS Senior selections, I then go back through and create a handful of B+W images of my absolute favorites

I am sitting here the night before Thanksgiving with a small list of families that I still owe photos to...and I am GRATEFUL.

It's that time of year where we (photographers) are all panicking, sitting at our screens early in the morning or late at night editing our hearts out knowing that we are behind on our deadlines and feeling like our best to deliver isn't quite good enough.

Simply put, we LOVE our clients!

I get to share so many moments in the lives of the young and the old, great big events that take months to plan...and sometimes, a quick trip out to some special land, surrounded by nothing more than warm sun and a soft, quiet breeze.

Two young hearts, sharing their Senior year together and celebrating a year of newness for them both.

I'll always say that I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, and while I enjoy my own lil' adventures and changing the direction of my own life here and there...I'll never stop THIS.

I don't get to love THIS part of my life without the souls I share this with. I've known these two since they were little kids, running into the great unknown on their own separate paths of life. How wonderful to see them grow through this part of their life together.

Sometimes...working in the middle of the night to get galleries delivered during this busy season can seem daunting to some, but I truly don't want to be anywhere else every November
