My brother-in-law had his first baby… and naturally, Aunt Heather had to take newborn pictures. 😂🐾

Meet my newest nephew, Baine. 🖤

He may have four legs, enormous feet, and absolutely no intention of staying newborn-sized for very long, but that just means we had to document the baby stage while we still could.

I have a feeling this handsome little guy is going to be spending a lot of time in front of Aunt Heather's camera. 📸

I've officially updated my pricing and booking information, so I wanted to pin it here to make it easy for everyone to find.

Thank you to everyone who has supported HG Photography so far. Every session is an opportunity to preserve memories that deserve to be remembered, and I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me. I look forward to meeting many more families here in western Nebraska!

101 years. ❤️

This past weekend, I had the incredible privilege of photographing my husband’s grandma as our family gathered to celebrate her 101st birthday. 🎂

There was laughter, there were hugs, stories, reunions, and more than a few moments that needed absolutely no posing at all. These photos are just a small portion of the many emotions captured that day — and I think that’s what I love most about them.

At 101 years old, a birthday party becomes about so much more than another trip around the sun. It’s about the generations of family gathered in one room, the memories already made, and the chance to make a few more. ❤️

📸 Hi there! I thought it was time to introduce (or reintroduce) myself.

If you're new here—welcome! My name is Heather, and I'm the face behind HG Photography.

My family and I recently made the move to Scottsbluff, and I'm excited to begin serving families throughout the Nebraska Panhandle. While this may be a new chapter for us, photography has been part of my life for years, and I truly love getting to preserve the moments that pass by far too quickly.

I started HG Photography because I believe family photographs shouldn't be a luxury. As a mom, I know how quickly children grow and how precious these seasons of life become. Every family deserves beautiful images to look back on, and my goal has always been to make that possible while creating an experience that's relaxed, genuine, and fun.

Thank you for welcoming my family into this community. I can't wait to meet you all and capture some memories together.

A few days ago, I told you to stay tuned...

Well... here's the big announcement. ❤️

This evening wasn't just another photo session. Before packing up and starting our next adventure, I wanted one last evening behind the camera with the people who inspire me most—my own family.

These photos feel like the perfect way to close one chapter before beginning the next.

Now it's time for an exciting new beginning.

📍 HG Photography is officially moving to Scottsbluff, Nebraska! 📍

Beginning August 1, I'll be accepting bookings throughout Scottsbluff and the surrounding communities for:

✨ Milestones
✨ Seniors
✨ Couples
✨ And everything in between

I'm so excited to explore new locations, meet new faces, and continue capturing the moments that matter most.

🇺🇸 Happy belated 4th of July! 🇺🇸

I convinced a few four-legged models to celebrate with me this weekend, and I learned a few things during this little practice session...

• 🧀 Cheese slices are apparently a premium modeling fee.
• 🐶 Dogs have absolutely no interest in taking direction.
• 📸 And sometimes the best photos happen somewhere between "sit" and "what are you doing?!" 😂

After taking some time away to welcome our newest family member, it feels really good to be back behind the camera again.

This was just a fun practice evening, but it's also the beginning of an exciting new chapter for HG Photography...

Hi friends! 💛

I’ll be honest… newborn sessions were never really “my thing.” I always leaned toward families and milestones — and thought I’d keep it that way.

But then life had other plans… we welcomed our own sweet little one into the world and everything changed 🥹💕

Spending these past two weeks soaking in all the tiny details — the little fingers, sleepy stretches, and those blink-and-you-miss-it moments — completely shifted my heart on newborn photography.

That’s also why I’ve been a bit quiet lately… taking time for pregnancy, birth, and all the newborn snuggles 💖

I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things and may just be adding newborn sessions after all 👀📸
