Had wonderful weather and a great turnout for Wednesday's Batteau Festival in Scottsville. The Valley Street Drifters put on a great show, which even got the littlest spectators on their feet dancing. Here are just a few images I captured.

The Batteau Festival is going on today in Scottsville. Here's you chance to see some living history. The boats are usually in town sometime between 5 and 6pm. If your in the Charlottesville area come and check it out!

It's Pollinator Day on Saturday, June 27 in Scottsville. Shop, Learn & Celebrate Pollinators. The downtown businesses will have pollinator-themed merchandise for sale. The Gallery on Valley will be celebrating with Pollinator themed art, the Library will be sharing pollinator themed Storytime and movies for the children. Also the downtown restaurants will be serving special honey based dishes.
