I found that while aimlessly scrolling through the fb page of my friend Michael F Bann. That quote describes who he really was. Want evidence? Go look at his fb page and the hundreds of comments and memories people have left for him. He touched so many lives.
Oh, Michael. Michael mother-f**king Bann!! You are a LEGEND. I hope you know that. I hope you know how many lives you've touched. I hope you know how many people admired you. I hope you know how many people were inspired by you. I hope you know how many people gained their confidence because of you. I hope you know how many people felt included because of you. I hope you know how many people truly loved you. I hope you know.
And if you didn't know, I hope you can hear me now as I speak this out loud, in case you're able to hear me from the other side.
I am devastated to hear of your passing. Truly heart broken. You were my mentor and inspiration when I jumped into the waters of pinup world. Because of you, I met so many wonderful people and made some amazing friendships in the pinup community. Because of you, my pinup photography was published in a real pinup magazine!! You changed my life. You gave me confidence when I was going through one of the darkest times in my life. You literally have no idea how much of an impact you've made in my life and the lives of so many others. Truly an inspiration, and I am so lucky to have lived the same time you did. You're one of the rare ones. Thank you for being you.
I don't know what's to come, but what I had was pretty freaking epic. You are a true legend, and you are what legends are made of. You leave behind a legacy. The legacy of a man unlike any other. The Legacy of Michael Bann, & . The man, the musician, the photographer, the son, the brother, the legend, but most importantly, the friend.
We are going to miss you. The world will never be the same. See you on the other side when it's my time to ascend.
P.S. I got the signs I needed from you, not just once, but TWICE!! Thanks, dude. I'll never forget you.❤️
