The quiet moments before the biggest question you’ll ever ask are so incredibly raw. I remember standing with Erik and planning a spot where he would drop to one knee and ask Elena to marry him. The sun was shining, friends and family were waiting on the balcony, and she was on her way to what she thought would just be a fun outing at the winery. During this time, the clouds were rolling in, with rain on the way. We quickly made a backup plan for under the pavilion and headed inside to wait it out. This was when everyone took a step back, waited, and watched as a future was unfolding.

It was then where it really hit me how special it is to be apart of these moments. Not just the proposal, but the raw emotion that comes before. All the planning, coordinating, rehearsal speeches in your head finally coming together. To be invited into such a special vulnerable space with them, is something I will never take for granted. Seeing a glimpse into how much love they have for each other is one of the most incredible things to document. A beginning to an exciting journey with the one you love the most. Through the unexpected and unplanned, making the best of it all. Proposals are so special and I’m so thankful for every single one that I get to be apart of. 🤍

Some of my favorite bridals happened during a completely unplanned time block. A few moments before it was time for the ceremony to begin, when she had a minute to breathe and really take it in that she’s about to get married. The moments in between will always be some of my favorites.

One of the most special details that stood out to me when getting to know C’airra and Brendan was their love for reading and watching other love stories unfold. It was something we bonded over immediately. I’ve posted some of their engagement session before, but had to make space for one of my favorite detail shots from the day. A ring in the middle of the book, because there is so much of their story yet to come. How special it was to be apart of this chapter in their lives 🤎
