Nothing like a New Orleans couple planning for a mild temperature wedding in Seaside but ended up with temps that felt like 11° with the windchill 🥶 In spite of it all, we partied hard and enjoyed having the beach ALL to OURSELVES for portraits! The tears were still warm and the love was still 🔥

Miranda and Tyler came from St. Louis and let New Orleans do the most for their engagement session, from daylight to neon light. We had the BEST TIME during their session and they flirted their way through cocktails, beignets, and a late night pizza date on Bourbon Street.

Lily + Matthew are the sweetest couple and I enjoyed getting to catch up with them during their maternity session…fresh off the plane from California. I love that they wanted to come back to New Orleans, the place where they got married, for their baby moon getaway. New Orleans is special to them, and they are special to me. They are going to be the best parents 🥹🥹

That just engaged feeling never get old to see! Just when Karter thought their trip to couldn’t get any better — Ash got down on one knee in front of the iconic Cathedral, their family appeared from the crowd, and champagne literally filled the air…Ash was serious about the champagne shower celebration. 😆

Planning these proposals are so fun and really reminds me how much these lovers go through to prepare the perfect moment for the love of their lives. 👏🏼

If I ever dreamed of a Vogue version of Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and made it real. Savannah is ONE beautiful girl loved by so many! Side note I never wanted to leave! A first birthday with things for the kids AND a DJ and never ending shots for the adults?? She is def my ideal client and throws parties just like me 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Sophia’s dress and heels became the muse for Savannah’s first birthday party — FUN, soft, sculptural, and effortlessly refined. From life-size blooms to Hansen’s snoballs and curated play spaces for the kids, every detail felt intentional and joy-filled. The party could have gone on forever. I cannot wait to share more!

It’s one thing to give you tips, it’s another to show and tell. The whole idea isn’t about freezing into the perfect angle — it’s about finding movement, confidence, and your natural badass self!

A few of my go-to tips, hold to read or cheat by reading below ⬇️
✨Laugh forward to keep that jawline sharp
✨ One shoulder up = instant neck elongation
✨ Move through your poses — variety comes from motion
✨ Forget bend and snap, walk and spin
✨ Lean back, one foot forward — hello, long lines

Yesterday was incredible and I’m so thrilled to not have to hide these gorgeous portraits any longer. It was agony! Angel honored her step-mother by wearing her wedding gown … cue all the tears. She’s all grown up now and I just can’t believe how fast it all happened. She’s deserves all the happiness in the world and I know Chris is going to give it to her. 😭 🥹

Angel and Chris have such an effortless joy about them (seriously, just look at them 🥹) and I cannot wait to step into their world today, fully present and ready to capture every laugh, every tear, every unforgettable moment. I just cannot believe this is happening already. I was JUST celebrating her graduating high school and then college. Needless to say, lots of tears will be shed in the happiest way.

TK and Brad traveled from Chicago for a quick New Orleans getaway and we planned a pretty amazing engagement session while they were here. Although warm, we had a blast dodging construction in the empty streets of the French Quarter while smelling the fresh lemon scent of the streets (shout out Sydney Torres haha!). We wrapped up our session under the sunlit oaks at City Park. Can you believe these two thought they were awkward in front of the camera? Me either, they were flirting and giving love with my help and direction. I hope their wedding is everything they dreamed it would be and more.
