Vox Umbra’s latest video for their song AFTERGLOW is performing very well on YouTube. Over 30k plays in just three weeks! Once again I did the cinematography work, for all of the winter scenes which were filmed in Fairbanks, Alaska. I used a variable ND filter to reduce the amount of light hitting the camera sensor. I knew that the bright March sunlight reflecting off of the snowy landscape would make filming during daylight hours nearly impossible. Even with the ND filter I had the aperture stopped down to f/8 for most of the filming, this also helped give a cinematic feel to the footage. I also used the S-Cinetone profile in my SONY A7IV.

WARNING: TAG HEAVY POST!

I almost forgot, until I wore my t shirt last night that I photographed VOWWS and for a few weeks ago already. The Lacuna Coil tour stopped in Seattle on April 4, . Vowws were the opening act. My wife of did an interview with Matt from Vowws. I took some photos, obviously, duh!
