Utah struck early with goals from Paige Cronin in the 1st minute, Narumi Miura in the 7th minute, and Cloé Lacasse just before halftime to secure a 3–0 victory.

Seattle finished with nine shots and four on target while Utah controlled much of the first half offensively in front of a crowd returning to Lumen Field for the home opener in Seattle.

Seattle Torrent players gather at center ice following a 2–1 shootout loss to the Montreal Victoire on Pride Night on April 25, 2026 at in Seattle, WA, closing out the final game of the franchise’s inaugural season in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,151 fans. Following the postgame handshakes, the team continued its center-ice tradition before skating around the rink to acknowledge supporters gathered along the glass.

Hilary Knight thanked fans for their support throughout the season as players waved to the crowd one final time, capping an emotional night that reflected the strong connection the team built with Seattle during its first year.

The Seattle Torrent and Montreal Victoire battle through regulation and overtime during Pride Night on April 25, 2026 at in Seattle, WA, before Montreal earned a 2–1 shootout victory in Seattle’s final game of the season. Alex Carpenter’s third-period power-play goal brought the Torrent level after Montreal had taken a second-period lead through Abby Roque.

The shootout loss ultimately ended Seattle’s pursuit of the No. 1 overall pick under the PWHL’s “Gold Plan,” capping an emotional and hard-fought night in front of one of the season’s most passionate home crowds.

The Seattle Torrent and Montreal Victoire take the ice for player introductions prior to Pride Night on April 25, 2026 at in Seattle, WA, before standing for the national anthems ahead of Seattle’s final game of the season. Grammy Award-winning artist Brandi Carlile delivered the ceremonial puck drop as fans filled the arena for one of the most emotional and meaningful Pride Night atmospheres of the year.

Seattle later battled Montreal to a 1–1 tie in regulation, with Alex Carpenter scoring a third-period power-play goal to answer an earlier tally from Montreal’s Abby Roque and force overtime. The Victoire ultimately secured a 2–1 shootout victory in the extra session, ending Seattle’s pursuit of the No. 1 overall pick under the PWHL’s “Gold Plan” draft system.
