Sun break from the comfort of my favorite chair by the fireplace.

It "always rains in Seattle!" So may people think this is true. It doesn't rain all the time. The is a beautiful place to work and play. Winters are wet and cold but this makes for absolutely beautiful spring blooms! Winter is also time to recharge for spring and summer outdoor activities like hiking.

The smallest flowers on my mint plant. This entire cluster of flowers is the size of my pinky nail. After our delicious meal we strolled through the garden. I joked about taking the garden home with me and they let me take a couple of cuttings. This is absolutely the best place to eat in Sequim, Washington.

I hope you take a moment in your life to seek and enjoy the little bits of beauty around you. It's everywhere if you just look.

Living in the Pacific Northwest is wonderful. We had an errand to run today after dinner. I was catching up on my emails while he drove. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the orange sky. "Please pull over so I can get a shot of this sunset." I can't believe I didn't have my Canon with me! Cell phone shots don't do it justice. 😑 Other people were stopping to enjoy the beauty of nature. Is was a special unplanned 30 minutes that I will never regret.
