Happy Valentine's Day! 💖

Whether you're doing something today with someone, or doing your own thing, I hope that you remember to love yourself most of all today! Treat yo self!

The other day, I had the pleasure to help out a friend with a bo***ir set, to surprise her boyfriend with on Valentine's Day. I think bo***ir shoots are an amazing way to not only a fun way to surprise that special someone, but they are also a great way to celebrate yourself, as well.

I went out twice this weekend and collaborated with Makeup Mercurial and a couple lovely friends to work on some Alphonse Mucha inspired seasonal shoots. We plan on adding Spring and Summer sets, once the weather gets a little warmer!

Who knew you could have so much fun taking pictures of people in bedsheets!

Makeup and Headdresses were done by the incredibly talented Charlotte Stone of Makeup Mercurial.

Today is the last full day for this lovely lady, before she sets off for a year long adventure in another country! I'm so proud of her, but that doesn't mean I won't miss her like crazy. Wacky trips to QFC late at night just won't be the same for a little while!

We spent last evening playing around with a couple shoots. I recently got some studio lights and a back drop, and Brittni was kind enough to model for me while I played around with them. Lighting is definitely a learning curve! Expect more pics to come soon!

Yesterday, Brittni and I went to the University of Washington campus to enjoy the cherry blossoms that are in bloom. It was gorgeous, and we took some nice pictures with them (I'll post them soon!) but by far my favorite shots are the few photos we took from inside a classroom, with the cherry blossoms peaking through the window!
