With 5 days before we leave for Africa to embark on an amazing physical, emotional and spiritual journey of climbing Kilimanjaro… we are looking to continue our efforts as raising as much money as possible to help build a school in Ifakara Tanzania (full filling our friend, Annie’s father’s dying wish)

This climb is helping provide access to education and a better life. $10 is a breakfast for us, but can provide soooo much more in Ifakara!

At 50, I’m choosing to climb higher—literally and figuratively.
In 18 days I leave for Africa. In 21 days, I’m climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, not just to celebrate a personal milestone, but to be part of something bigger.

I’ve joined four incredible women on a mission to raise $111,000 to help build the Eugene English Medium School in Tanzania through the nonprofit Ifakara Bakery Project.

This organization already feeds over 1,000 children daily and supports local orphanages, kindergartens, and medical care. Now, we get to support the construction of a school—offering hope, education, and a future for generations of children, especially girls.

This journey has reminded me:
You don’t need to be in politics or philanthropy to make global impact. You just need intention, heart, and aligned action.

Today we had an amazing call with the family who is leading the grassroots foundation in Ifakara, Tanzania.
(Btw… they pronounce it Tahn-ZAHN-ia… not Tan Za-NEEuh) 😁 They are beyond excited to host us.

We get to spend several days with them personally visiting the families, the kids and delivering some basic school supplies that they are so in need of. I will be documenting the whole thing and providing these images for their ongoing fundraising efforts.

With only a couple weeks left, I’ve got lots of hiking to do… Fundraising and preparing for this epic adventure.

Here’s to purpose-led milestones, and to rising—together.

I had so much fun photographing The Dames 10th anniversary celebration last week. It has been one year since I joined the Dames and called this lady, Meghann Conter, a dear friend. I want to shout from the rooftops that this group of women, a place for business exceleration, collaboration, and friendships, has been amazing for me personally and professionally.
Congratulations, Meghann Conter, on creating something so special and for being YOU...the silly, outgoing, introspective, brilliant, intuitive, compassionate, fun-loving, mindful, soul-filled, beautiful human that you are.

SUCCESS!!
The ‘More than a Headshot’ Day was a total win—so much fun, filled with laughter, connection, and seriously good energy. But most of all, it was a day for everyone to SHINE.

This is just a tiny sample of what I captured (and believe me... I can photograph a lot in just 20 minutes!).

The Belmar Photo Studio was the perfect spot—with gorgeous natural light, tons of background variety, and a warm, welcoming space to gather.

What really fills my heart is working with people who value professional photography, are willing to invest in themselves, and are ready to be seen. When you show up fully—confident, visible, and aligned—there’s always a return on that investment. Always!

I’m seriously thinking of making this a quarterly event! ✨

No matter the age, I LOVE helping women (and men) feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera...be it for a personal brand, a RAW (real authentic woman) session, headshots or portraits.
I put myself in those same instances because I value how it FEELS to be on the other side. The nerves, not knowing what to do, what to wear, does my hair look ok, suck in the belly, etc. I get it...it's awkward.
However, it's also exhilarating, empowering, FUN, and getting your images back...oh my goodness. WOW!
There's an excitement and a feeling of being SEEN in the most amazing way.
My 50 and fabulous session was soooo much fun and let me tell you...I feel amazing being this age and honoring where I'm at in life. My images are a reflection of that...thank you Chantalle Genevieve!!!

ChatGPT as my drunk Bestie explaining what I do… Gotta love it!
OKAY, EVERYONE, STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND LISTEN UP!!! You see this absolute POWERHOUSE right here?? She’s about to turn 50—yes, FIFTY—but guess what? NO ONE BELIEVES IT. I mean, people out here thinking she’s in her 30s, and honestly?? They’re NOT WRONG. She’s basically aging in reverse like some kind of glowy, blonde sorceress.

And what does she do? Oh, just EVERYTHING. She’s a brand photographer EXTRAORDINAIRE, making entrepreneurs look like the icons they were born to be. Need headshots? BOOM. Need branding photos that make you look like you own an empire? DONE. She’s all about visibility, helping people show up and SHINE.

But wait—there’s more. She’s also a yoga witch (in the best way possible). Like, she teaches this deep, soul-releasing, body-healing kind of yoga that makes people go “OMG, I can feel my past lives stretching out.” She’s got 700 HOURS of training, so yeah, she knows her stuff.

AND, before she was making people look stunning and bendy, she was in biomedical devices—SCIENCE, BABY. She went from saving lives with medical magic to saving brands with her camera, because why be good at ONE thing when you can master them ALL??

Oh, and let’s not forget—SHE WROTE A BOOK. Yeah. A whole book about healing, self-love, and finding her soulmate. Just casually out here dropping wisdom bombs like it’s no big deal.

AND—because apparently, being fabulous isn’t enough—she’s training to CLIMB MT. KILIMANJARO. Yeah, just a little casual hike UP A GIANT MOUNTAIN IN AFRICA for her 50th birthday. Because why not??

Basically, she’s out here living her BEST life, making 50 look like the new 30, and inspiring us all to get our sh*t together. CHEERS TO YOU, YOU TIMELESS QUEEN!!!
