a morning hindu wedding dripping in color, tradition, and a love story straight out of a movie. ❤️

from a chance meeting in 2016 to somehow landing in the same city years later, this couple’s journey was written by the universe. we got to document their south east asian wedding day at parties on the terrace, a gloomy morning that gave way to golden sun right as the ceremony wrapped, vibrant hues, and every ritual filled with meaning. seattle hindu wedding photographers over here, forever grateful for days like this one 🧡❤️

“our favorite thing is hosting family and friends for a drink and a meal.” m & p 🥂

that’s exactly how this couple approached their wedding day at the hall at fauntleroy: a giant dinner party for the people they love most, inspired by italian dinner party meets pnw.

as a seattle wedding photographer, we spent the day capturing that hosting energy start to finish, brick and ivy, golden hour light,
party and photo booth in the vashon room, and a couple who knows how to entertain and rock some editorial portraiture.

this was a west seattle wedding day that felt exactly like them: warm, generous, and full of good food and better company.

our favorite touch: e & t are sea glass collectors, and they wove that into their day in the quietest, sweetest ways. also a first for us, shooting the guys getting ready in the green room which was epic.

cannon beach has a way of holding onto memories, and for a & c, this stretch of coast has always meant something deeper. it’s special to me too, sound & sea got its name from my love of the pacific, so shooting a wedding on this coastline always feels a little full circle. 🌊

the day brought bright sun and perfect weather to match. we spent it on the bluffs and down at surf sand resort for a reception that felt more like a perfect beach day than anything scripted, salt air, golden light, and views of haystack rock the whole time.

getting to document a place that already held so much history for a & c, now with a new memory layered on top for all of us, is exactly why i love this kind of relaxed, documentary coverage as a seattle wedding photographer. no forced poses, just real moments as they happened.

congrats to a & c! if you’re dreaming of a laid back coastal celebration full of meaning, cannon beach might just be the spot. ❤️

congrats l & s! 🌾✨ this carnation farms wedding was a joy!

a magical minute of rain right as the ceremony began, a hora dance that had the whole crowd on their feet, and a sunset that stopped everyone in their tracks before the dance party took over. as a seattle wedding photographer, days like this remind me why i love documenting real, unscripted moments: the rain, the joy, the sweet love between two people ready to start their life together. carnation farms is such a stunning venue for couples wanting a large partywith an elegant, romantic feel, and this seattle wedding photography day delivered magic from golden hour straight through the last dance. huge congrats to l & s on a celebration none of us will forget!

spring in the pacific northwest has this quiet diffused glow that turns a room into something you’d hang on a wall. as a seattle wedding photographer that’s all i need.

she’s drinking straight from the bottle and honestly? this is exactly my kind of couple.

a bride mid-swig, a groom squat-posing like he’s in a music video, a wedding party losing it in the best way. this is what it looks like when people actually let loose on their wedding day. no stiff lineup against a wall. just pure, unscripted chaos that somehow looks like art.

i’ll always carve out time for editorial portraits. but this? this is the heart of what i do. real moments, real people, real fun, and i’m just there to catch it.
