I’m opening the studio for a limited number of portrait sessions on June 28 here in Seattle.

These sessions are for:
— couples
— grads
— maternity
— headshots & branding
—or honestly… just because.

No big milestone required.

Need updated content? Headshots? Maternity announcements? Save the dates? Or honestly… just because? Come by.

Think relaxed direction, natural connection, clean editorial energy, and a space to create something meaningful without needing a wedding or special occasion attached to it.

Link is in bio to reserve your spot. Last I checked, there were only 4 left 👀

I’ve noticed more couples lately choosing weddings that feel smaller, calmer, and a little less performative.

Courthouse ceremonies.
Weekday weddings.
A few people instead of a few hundred.

And honestly? I get it.

There’s something really beautiful about stripping away the pressure and focusing on what actually matters to you two.

This downtown Seattle wedding felt stylish, emotional, relaxed, and completely centered on their experience instead of expectations.

Whether your wedding is big or small, the best celebrations are the ones that actually feel like you.

And if a courthouse wedding has been sitting quietly in the back of your mind lately… maybe this is your sign.

m a r r i a g e m o n d a y | the quiet moments after “yes”

Everyone imagines the proposal itself — the nerves, the question, the ring.
But there’s something really beautiful about what comes right after.

The deep breath.
The smiling until your cheeks hurt.
The “wait… we’re really doing this?” feeling.

Just two people walking around the city together knowing life changed a little that day.

People love to say “it’s just one day.”

But photography is the part that outlives the day.

The flowers wilt.
The food gets eaten.
The timeline becomes a blur.

And years from now, your photos are the thing your kids, your family, and eventually your grandkids will reach for when they want to remember what it all felt like.

Cheap photography usually doesn’t mean “same thing for less.”
It means less coverage. Less experience. Less direction. Less backup. Less intention. Less memory preserved.

That doesn’t mean everyone needs the most expensive photographer in the city. Not at all.

But it does mean couples should understand what they’re trading away when price becomes the only deciding factor.

Your wedding photos aren’t just content for Instagram.
They become part of your family history.

If you’re planning a wedding in Seattle or beyond and want photography that feels intentional, emotional, and lasting, I’d love to tell your story.

so excited to officially share that i’m now an AfterShoot partner 🤍

if you’re not a photographer, you might be wondering what that even means — so let me explain.

after every wedding day, i come home with thousands of images. before editing even begins, i have to sort through all of them and decide what stays, what goes, which expressions feel strongest, which moments matter most. that process is called culling, and honestly? it can be one of the most mentally exhausting parts of this job.

AfterShoot helps with that process in a way that still feels true to me as an artist. it learns my preferences, helps organize and narrow things down, and keeps my workflow moving without me sitting at my computer at 1am trying to choose between 14 nearly identical frames 😭

but to be super clear: AI is not replacing my eye, my editing, or my storytelling. every gallery still goes through me. every image is still touched intentionally. this just helps me spend less time drained by repetitive tasks and more time focused on the part i actually love — the storytelling, the emotion, the experience, the art.

i’ve been using AfterShoot long before this partnership, so saying yes to becoming an official partner honestly felt really natural. and getting to do my first live demo with them at ShutterFest this year was such a full circle moment 🥹

excited for what’s ahead.
photographers — if you’ve been curious about my workflow or want to try it for yourself, feel free to DM me or check the link in my bio !

to the moms in the thick of it, the first-time moms, the experienced moms, the grieving moms, the hopeful moms, the bonus moms, and the ones carrying complicated feelings today too —

there’s no one way to move through a day like today.

whether today feels joyful, tender, quiet, heavy, beautiful, or somewhere in between, I hope you give yourself permission to feel whatever is true for you.

sharing a few favorite moments from some of my CBC studio families today 🤍

also a gentle reminder that my cozy little Pioneer Square studio is still here 🥹

if you’ve been wanting to do something special, slow down for a bit, document your family, your babies, your motherhood, or honestly just yourself — I’d love to have you in the studio sometime.

w e d d i n g w e d n e s d a y | albums matter

Your wedding gallery is important.
But your album is the thing that actually survives.

Hard drives fail.
Clouds change.
Links expire.
Technology moves fast.

An album doesn’t need Wi-Fi, a password, or a software update to tell your story 30 years from now.

It’s the thing your future kids pull off the shelf.
The thing your friends flip through on the couch.
The version of your wedding day that becomes part of your home, not just another folder on a device.

That’s why I care so much about printing your photos and designing albums intentionally — not just delivering a gallery and disappearing.

Because your story deserves to exist beyond a screen.

Past couple? Current CBC couple? Already married and realizing you never printed your photos? It’s never too late. I’d love to design something meaningful for you 🤍

And photographers — if you’ve been looking for a luxury album company to partner with, I’ve linked the company I personally use and trust in my bio, along with access to a discounted sample kit.

This was a bonus demo I taught right after my True Tones class at Shutterfest.

Working in a tight space with continuous light, the goal was simple:
balance both complexions without compromising either one.

I also added a foreground element—shoutout to an attendee from earlier that day who inspired that idea (I’ll tag you when I find you!)

Depth. light. intention. Always.

This is the kind of intention I bring into every wedding day.
