Today was kinda perfect!!!

Finally, a clear night to chase my favorite subject. 95.6% waning moon rising in the sky last night. Since it has been a while since I have shot the moon, I decided to go all in and capture the moon from 3 different spots. Some mad(but safe and perfectly legal) driving was involved.

Same Moon. Same Needle. Same Night.

Far = giant moon
Closer = smaller moon
Higher = whiter/cooler moon

The only things changed? Camera location & time.

A7RV. 600mm f4 GM lens.

Finally, a clear night to chase my favorite subject. 95.6% waning moon rising in the Seattle sky last night. Since it has been a while since I have shot the moon, I decided to go all in and capture the moon from 3 different spots. Some mad(but safe and perfectly legal) driving was involved.

Tonight’s Seattle sunset!
I was hoping the clouds would bring the drama at sunset, but I ended up a bit too high to catch it. No complaints though! The city lights stepped in and delivered their own kind of magic anyway.
