Megan + Brian | April 23, 2022
When we moved to Bremerton, we had no idea we'd meet such incredible neighbors. Megan and Brian were those comfortable humans you actually hoped would drop by, unannounced. They moved to another part of town, but occasionally we still got to relish in their sweet, giggly, intentional energy. Having the opportunity to capture their love was an absolute honor. Their friendship is so deep- their connection is what we can all hope for in the search and celebration of a life partner. Cheers to laughing all the way to Tennessee and to eventual visits from yours truly. We love you. (This is just a teaser batch...more soon!)

Kitsap Pride 2021... I couldn't be more proud to live here.
Thank you to all of the young people who are beautifully and fearlessly setting the example of how to live authentically. Thank you Kitsap Pride Network for an incredible gathering full of so much love, celebration, and- next year- even more slushies. I'm still processing photos, but here's a quick handful to keep the warm fuzzies flowing. My heart is full... thank you for this much needed soul injection.

When fantastic humans find each other, everything makes sense. These two are each other's puzzle piece and have accomplished more as a couple to take over the world of perpetual happiness than most. They're no frills, whiskey-drinking, fine folks who know what they want and make it theirs... now they're each other's forever.

I've been a bit delayed in posting any weddings I've photographed in the past couple years. Perhaps it's because they take on this sacred energy of special captured moments and through the process of editing and completion, they become intimate gifts that I have the honor of sharing with the couple I capture. In light of day and in celebration of all that accomplished for women and human rights, I want to celebrate Beverly and her amazing partner Nick who I photographed in June. There's something about Beverly's energy and her determination that good can be achieved through justice that gives me hope. She's clerking for the Supreme Court of Washington State and it's easy to see amazing things in her future. There's a fire in her soul that made her easy to photograph in all of her confident beauty and authentic sense of self. Although we've lost a personal hero, I capture glimpses of the future and am confident there are replacements on the horizon.

If you're not registered to vote, do it. Every chance you have to vote, DO IT. Every level of our democracy needs your voice to be truly effective.
