It’s been awhile since I updated any of my photography accounts, so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made 2023 such a great year and trusted me to capture your most precious memories. A little over a month ago, I moved to the West Coast and starting working at Timberlake Church in Redmond, WA. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work in ministry and to continue taking photos in a new place. It’s been so much fun exploring and getting settled somewhere so beautiful! That being said, I won’t be in New York for any more shoots, but I’m thankful for all the wonderful people I’ve met over the years who have helped me grow this business into something I’ve truly cherished. Here’s to new adventures!📸✨

Traveling to Waco last November was life-giving in so many ways. I got to spend four agenda-free days eating amazing food, exploring new cities, and laughing a ton with the sweetest friend. With all of its blessings, 2022 was also the year I really felt the hurried, fast-paced speed of our world heavy in my soul. I was thankful for the dozens of referrals for photo shoots, the part time job helping a hospice home, and the roles that I was generously able to step into at church, but by the end of the year, I knew the way I packed my calendar was not sustainable. This trip was the final exposure I needed to truly see that. So, I took a step back. I started to say “no” to some things. I trusted that God would provide. Because of that reset, I experienced margin in a way that helped me see my life more clearly. I feel refreshed.

Thank you to everyone who booked sessions with me in 2022. It was a gift to capture so many important milestones and markers for so many people and families. Saying “no” to certain things from 2022 is allowing me to say “yes” to picking up my camera and capturing even more memories in 2023. I’m thankful that my creativity felt like it was waking up a bit in Waco, and I’m excited to have space for sessions that mean a lot to me this year.
