summer in flagstaff is hard to explain until you see it for yourself. the wildflowers are out, the aspens are full, and the light stays soft well into the evening. it’s one of the reasons i love photographing weddings here.

these two chose to spend their wedding day tucked into the forest, surrounded by nothing but aspens, open space, and the people who mattered most.

is one of my favorite flagstaff wedding venues because everything happens in one place. getting ready, portraits, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception. nobody is loading into cars and disappearing for an hour while we chase good photo locations.

you also get views of the san francisco peaks, open pasture, horses, and enough room that the day never feels cramped.

as a photographer, it makes it incredibly easy to document the entire story without spending half the day in transit.

if you’re planning a flagstaff wedding and want mountain views without having to leave your venue to find them, sycamore is worth touring.

they want the red rocks, the views, the magic everyone talks about, but they don’t always know where to go once they get here.

is one of those venues that has it all- red rock views, large reception room, stunning cocktail patio, and a ceremony deck surrounded by red rocks while being backed by brick and ivy. A shot I live for at every Agave wedding is bride coming down the aisle. Emerging from the brick and coming out to a view of Sedona red rock that just takes your breath away.

The courtyard, the greens, the view during ceremony. It all works without having to force anything. She kept everything classic, soft, and simple and it photographed exactly how it felt.

Here’s your reminder that you really don’t need to overdo it at this venue. Good light, good timeline, and letting the space do its thing goes a long way.

If you’re getting married at Agave of Sedona, this is your sign to keep it intentional and not overcomplicate it.
