I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the amazing Yolessa of Sedona Healing Arts here in Sedona, Arizona. ✨ Yolessa is a beautiful healer, intuitive, and spiritual teacher who has dedicated her life to helping others connect with themselves, their intuition, and their own life path.

But Yolessa has so many incredible gifts beyond her spiritual work — she is also an amazing dancer! 💃 It is such a joy to photograph talented, passionate, and deeply tuned-in people who bring so much of themselves into the world.

There is something really special about witnessing people who have chosen to follow their passion and embrace their unique path. They aren’t afraid to be who they are. They allow their gifts, creativity, and light to shine — and that light has a way of inspiring everyone around them. ✨

I absolutely love photographing people like Yolessa who are living authentically, following their calling, and letting their light shine in this world. ❤️

Jennifer and Cary chose Sedona to celebrate their love, and what an adventure their session turned out to be! ❤️🌵

It was a rare rainy week here in Sedona. Our first attempt at their session was completely rained out, and the following day still brought small patches of rain. That meant we had to change our shooting locations a few times and stay flexible with the weather. In the end, we embraced the adventure and photographed at multiple beautiful spots around Sedona.

I brought out a second portrait lens as well as my landscape lens, which allowed me to create more variety in their gallery—from beautiful environmental portraits showcasing the red rocks to sharper, more intimate portraits of the two of them. Having multiple lenses and knowing several Sedona locations also gives us flexibility when the sun is blocked or the weather changes unexpectedly.

Jennifer and Cary were absolute troopers and such good sports! We made the best of the situation, explored different areas, laughed a lot, and still had so much fun together. Sometimes the unexpected weather ends up creating some of the most memorable sessions. ✨

A fun family portrait session at Rachel’s Knoll in beautiful Sedona, Arizona! ❤️🌵

Rachel’s Knoll is such a gorgeous spot for family photography, with stunning red rock views and plenty of variety for capturing those special moments. During family sessions, I love creating a mix of group portraits, individual family shots, and different combinations so everyone gets a chance to shine.

I truly love photographing families and helping create beautiful memories that you’ll treasure for years to come. Being a family photographer in Sedona means I get to combine the beauty of this incredible landscape with the connection and love that makes every family unique. 📸✨

Erin is an amazing healer and EFT practitioner, and it was such a pleasure having her in front of my camera for a personal branding session here in Sedona, AZ!

She chose Crescent Moon Ranch for her session, and branding sessions are always so much fun! I bring multiple lenses and my changing tent so we can create a variety of looks, from beautiful environmental portraits to professional headshots. The changing tent makes it easy to switch outfits right on location so we can get lots of variety without having to leave the scenery.

And how amazing is this cream boho dress?! 🤍 It’s from goodjujusedona, a local clothing shop here in Sedona.

Congratulations to Todd and Jennifer on their beautiful wedding at Alcantara Vineyard in Camp Verde, Arizona! After their ceremony, we headed up to Merry Go Round Rock to capture their wedding portraits at one of Sedona’s most stunning and iconic locations. Their family joined us, and we also photographed beautiful family wedding portraits surrounded by Sedona’s incredible red rock scenery.

Seth popped the question at Yavapai Vista for an unforgettable surprise marriage proposal, and she said yes! It was such a fun and special moment to capture, and surprise proposals are always some of my favorite sessions to photograph.

This was one of my longer proposal sessions, so we were able to capture many more images than a typical proposal, giving the couple a great variety of memories from this exciting chapter in their lives.

This was a fun family portrait session with Lindsay’s family in Sedona. On windy days, I like to choose some of my lower-elevation locations because they tend to have less wind, making the shoot more comfortable for everyone. During this session, we captured a variety of family combinations while taking advantage of the beautiful big-view red rock scenery that makes Sedona such a special place for family photography.

Sarah visited Sedona and decided to celebrate her trip with a photoshoot. A vacation photoshoot is a fun way to document your travel memories and create beautiful images you can enjoy for years to come.

We met at Crescent Moon Ranch, one of Sedona’s most scenic photography locations. This stunning area offers a variety of backdrops, including Oak Creek, lush grassy areas, and breathtaking views of Cathedral Rock. The combination of water, greenery, and red rocks creates a softer, more romantic feel that photographs beautifully.

Sarah was a joy to work with and brought great energy to the session. We explored several areas of the ranch and captured a wonderful variety of images showcasing both the landscape and her Sedona adventure.

Kali chose to elope at Merry Go Round Rock in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. This is always such an epic location for an adventure elopement with its sweeping red rock views and dramatic cliffs. She shared her special day surrounded by her closest friends and family as they celebrated with an intimate ceremony on top of the red rocks.

After the ceremony, we explored the different ledges and even ventured into the cave area to capture some stunning red rock portraits with Sedona’s breathtaking scenery all around us.

It was such an honor to be part of this beautiful celebration and capture these unforgettable memories. Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for allowing me to document your incredible day!

Congratulations to Alex on graduating from Grand Canyon University!

Alex chose the Baby Bell location in Sedona for his senior graduation photo session. This is always a fun spot because it involves a bit of hiking and exploring along the red rock ledges, creating opportunities for a variety of unique and adventurous portraits. The location can be a little challenging at times due to the wind, but thanks to his entourage and great teamwork, we were able to make everything come together beautifully.
