There’s something magical about a sunset family session.

The way the light wraps around a family. The tiny hands reaching for mom and dad. The giggles, cuddles, and those little in-between moments that become some of the most treasured memories years from now.

This sweet evening with these three was filled with all of my favorite things: golden light, genuine smiles, and a baby who was completely adored every second of the session.

One of the biggest reasons I love being a Milwaukee family photographer is getting to document families exactly as they are in this season of life. No perfect poses required. Just connection, laughter, and the people you love most.

Because babies grow fast. The little curls change. The tiny fingers get bigger. And before you know it, these moments become memories.

We’re somehow already halfway through Pride Month, and it feels like the perfect time to say something that isn’t just for June:

One of the greatest honors of being a Milwaukee wedding photographer is getting to document people exactly as they are and exactly as they love. Every couple deserves to feel celebrated, safe, welcomed, and completely themselves on their wedding day.

A Foundry 45 wedding with the BEST energy ✨

From the emotional moments to the absolute chaos on the dance floor, this day was everything I love about weddings. The industrial vibe of Foundry 45 mixed with such a fun, genuinely kind group of people made this one unforgettable.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Foundry 45 is how versatile the space is. You can have elegant moments, emotional moments, wildly fun moments, and those candid in-between memories all in one place — and it photographs SO well.

The bridesmaids looked incredible, the reception was nonstop fun, and honestly… the dessert table deserved its own photoshoot 😂

There’s just something about wedding portraits in the woods that feels a little extra magical 🌲✨

The quiet. The light filtering through the trees. The way everything slows down for a second while the two of you just exist together away from the chaos of the day. Some of my favorite wedding photos happen in moments like these — natural, relaxed, emotional, and a little adventurous.

These two absolutely nailed that effortlessly-in-love energy and the forest backdrop made everything feel straight out of a movie.

Congratulations to all of my 2026 seniors!!! 🎓✨

Watching this season come to life has been so fun — the personalities, the laughs, the outfits, the chaos, the confidence… all of it. Senior year is such a huge chapter and getting to document it for you is something I never take for granted.

Also… if you spot the book in these photos 👀 YES — The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue absolutely wrecked me in the best way possible. I just finished it and now I’m recommending it to basically everyone 😂 If you love beautiful writing, emotional storytelling, and books that stick with you long after you finish them… read it.

They called it “paperwork in the park” — but it was honestly one of the sweetest wedding days. 🖤

A beautiful day in the park, a quick little ceremony, their immediate family surrounding them, happy tears, laughter, and zero stress. Just the people who matter most celebrating these two finally making it official.

And the best part? This is only chapter one. ✨

Next up: they’re eloping in Arizona for an adventure in the desert before coming back to celebrate all over again with a bigger party later on. Honestly… this might be the perfect way to do it.

No rules. No pressure. Just creating a wedding experience that actually feels like THEM.

I’ll say it forever — your wedding doesn’t have to look traditional to be meaningful. Whether it’s a courthouse ceremony, “paperwork in the park,” an Arizona elopement, or a giant dance floor party… your day should feel intentional, fun, and true to your story.
