Remember when my sisters and I set up this family photoshoot within a week because we knew our mom didn't have much time left? Never in my wildest thoughts would I have guessed that a week after our mom would pass in October of 2023 that my big sister would feel a lump in her breast. Angie battled breast cancer for nearly three years and passed away surrounded by so much love on August 25, 2026. The only comfort I find in all this sadness is knowing Angie is together again with our mom and no longer suffering. The tremendous loss from my immediate family has definitely made me a little bit more quiet on here lately. Sharing to remind everyone to capture as many memories as you possibly can and to love deeply.

My spring/summer life through the lens and a fence. When you have three girls that all love the same sport, you just keep showing up with the black heavy hardware to document it all. Nine softball teams later, 21 summer travel tournaments and we are officially done with softball for hopefully a few weeks.

We really can’t express what it means to be voted Best Bakery in Blackstone Valley again! Your love, support, and patronage has kept our doors open for over 7 years now and that has felt like a huge feat in itself. We’ve survived the dreaded hurdle of 5 years in business and that has included a global pandemic, insane inflation, and starting our family.

It’s easy to focus on the stress and hardship of living this unpredictable life. Unsure if we’ll have enough money to get paid at the end of every week, or even enough to keep our doors open. As small business owners, most days it’s easier to think about what you’re not succeeding at. It’s hard when money is tight, business is slow, and bills still need to be paid. It’s easier to feel like you’re failing rather than succeeding.

On a night like this (and with a pat on the back like this), we are reminded that what we’re doing is actually pretty amazing. We do what we love, we have the most amazing team of people who work so hard every day, we get to be a part of our community and celebrate your milestones, and we get to raise our daughter in a place that means so much to us. Most of all, this place supports our family. It’s still full of uncertainty but it’s a life we’re making for ourselves.

It’s humbling to be reminded that so many of you love us enough to think we deserve this recognition. For that we are forever grateful. We love you!! ❤️
