I know itâs been a hot minute since I had my studio open house, and I just realized⌠I never actually posted about it. đ¤Śââď¸đ
Also, please donât shame me as a photographer for only taking cell phone photos that day. Apparently, I was too busy hosting, chatting, eating donuts, and trying to make sure I didnât forget something to actually pick up my real camera. đ
But honestly, the best way I can sum up the day is⌠WOW!
Of course, I was worried that no one would show up. Isnât that what we all worry about when we plan something like this?! But from the time it started until the end, there was a steady flow of people coming through the studio. Clients I havenât seen in way too long, current clients, and brand-new faces all stopped by. â¤ď¸
One of my favorite things was seeing people hang out and mingle. Some may not have known each other very well, but before long they were standing around chatting like old friends. That absolutely made my heart happy.
I also have to give a BIG thank you to The Kind Cafe for providing the coffee, all the fixings, and the very, very best cookies! âđŞ Seriously⌠those cookies were a hit! If youâre ever in need of some seriously yummy cookies (or just a good excuse to treat yourself), be sure to stop the cafe!
By the end of the day, my heart was so full. Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new people, and feeling the support from this community reminded me exactly why I was so excited to become part of downtown Selinsgrove. â¤ď¸
And I absolutely cannot make this post without giving a HUGE shoutout to Raegan Hauck. When I first started brainstorming this open house, I quickly realized there were about a million little details that were going to take a lot of time. I appreciate you more than you know for your willingness to walk all over town, buy gift cards, collect addresses, mail letters, make a slideshow, help me set up, and deal with all of my crazy ideas. đ All of those little things added up, and you saved me SO much time. Thank you for being my right-hand woman and helping bring it all together! â¤ď¸
To everyone who stopped by, chatted, supported me, entered the giveaways, grabbed some coffee, ate cookies and donuts, and helped make the day so special⌠THANK YOU. I may be late posting about it, but Iâm certainly not late in appreciating every single one of you. đĽ°
