When someone asks what my ideal session looks like, this is the one that comes to mind.

She planned a surprise birthday photoshoot at Side Street Studio, and from the moment we started, these two couldn't keep a straight face lol

They showed up on time (pro tip! 😉), which meant we had a few extra minutes at the end of the session to walk over to Dauphin Street and capture a few more photos.

Flash back to ONE YEAR ago!
This was one of my first shoots for Historic Midtown Magazine and I was so nervous. I brought every piece of equipment I had with me, just in case lol

Since then, there have been gear upgrades, a switch to Sony, and lots of growth!

I had so much fun with this family. We started out taking a few photos in mom's studio and then met up at the park for family photos while the kids played.

I loved the playground part of the session! The kids got to run around, play, and just be themselves, which always makes for the best photos. 💛
(And yes, my kids were there. I had to photoshop them out of the background 😆)
