if you’re waiting until your toddler can sit still for family photos… don’t. 🤣🥰🫶🏼
this session was proof that they don’t have to. we spent the morning wandering around the park, following miss girl wherever she decided we were going, laughing a lot, and just letting the session unfold. there wasn’t any pressure for everything to be perfect because that’s not what this season of life looks like. and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
this sweet fam is now only a couple weeks away from meeting their newest little girl 🥹 one of my favorite parts of this sesh was getting to include grandma too. baby girl is actually being named after her, and I just know these photos are going to mean even more as time goes on.
I think somewhere along the way people started believing family photos have to be perfectly posed to be beautiful. but I don’t really buy that. give me the running, the giggles, the little hands reaching for mom and dad, and the toddler who would rather explore than smile at the camera. because years from now, that’s the stuff you’ll want to remember.
