Your pup is part of your story, your everyday life, and your little family—so why wouldn’t they be part of this season too? I absolutely love when couples bring their dogs along because it adds such a personal (and honestly, joyful) layer to your photos.

E & N brought their dog Smith to their session and it made everything feel that much more them. The cuddles, the laughs, the in-between moments… it all felt so natural and meaningful.

A few quick tips if you’re thinking about bringing your dog:
– Choose a dog-friendly location
– Bring a leash + a neutral collar/harness
– Pack treats (always a must 🫶🏼)
– Consider bringing a friend to help hold your pup when needed
– Plan for a mix of photos with and without them

Four “yes” moments… and somehow each one felt completely its own 🤍

Right before maternity leave, I had the honor of capturing four proposals—four stories, four once-in-a-lifetime moments. The nerves, the deep breath, the instant shift into pure joy… it never gets old.

There’s just something about a quiet morning at Brookside Gardens 🌷✨

The soft light, the peaceful paths, and rows of blooming tulips (my absolute favorite) made this engagement session feel so dreamy. These two brought so much love and laughter—it felt like we had the whole garden to ourselves, just soaking in the moment together. This is exactly why I love morning sessions… slower, sweeter, and so full of intention 🤍

Golden hour portraits are one of my favorite parts of a wedding day ✨

After the ceremony, the hugs, the family photos, and the excitement of it all, I love sneaking my couples away for a few quiet minutes during sunset. It’s a chance to step away from the hustle of the day, take a deep breath, and just be together. No timelines, no pressure—just the two of you soaking in the fact that you’re officially married.

The light is soft, warm, and incredibly romantic, which makes for some of the dreamiest photos of the entire day. But more than that, it’s often the first moment couples get to slow down and truly take it all in together.

Those few minutes at golden hour? They always end up being some of the most meaningful moments of the day.

Spring will forever have my heart.
After months of bare trees, gray skies, and winter hibernation, there’s something so refreshing about watching the world come back to life. The first pops of color on the trees, flowers blooming everywhere, longer evenings, and that finally feeling of warmth in the air—it never gets old.

Spring sessions are some of my favorites because everything feels lighter. Couples are relaxed, colors are vibrant, and there’s this natural joy that shows up so effortlessly in photos. It’s the season of new beginnings, and it truly shows in every session I photograph.

Okay sooo… first post in months 👀
Busy season really took me out in the best way — proposal after proposal after proposal, and so many beautiful moments I can’t wait to finally share.

Starting with this one because honestly?? A pumpkin patch proposal with their sweet pup as the third wheel of honor… I mean. PERFECTION. The fall colors, the cozy sweaters, the pure joy — everything about this session reminded me why I love what I do.
