Please bare with me as my messenger is having issues and won't let me message anyone. I am trying to resolve it! I am working on photos from Isom and Sevierville and can't wait to share them. 🤍

If you know me....
You know yesterday was a good day just from this photo. 🤩

Over the last two years, I've traveled and worked full time as a primarily rodeo photographer. This means I see several new places, arenas, people, crowds... etc.

However, this photo below shows my hometown arena right here in Sevierville! Not only is it my hometown, and... I got my absolute favorite (strawberry lemonade with REAL strawberries).... but it is where I got to shoot my first ever rodeo under another photographer. I had been trying to find my way into this industry for a very long time, and I am so thankful that rodeo company and photographer took a chance on me.

I am now back, as the official photographer for this event, and simply can't believe how far I've come. Sevierville has one of the best crowds our crew sees, my own family and friends, lemonade.. duh, and the roots of my buisness all in one. 🤍

Come see us tonight at 7 for another great night of rodeo, and sneak over to get some lemonade from the fair!

Sometimes you're the windshield...
Sometimes you're the bug...
I don't think we appreciate our bull fighters and what they do for the rodeo world enough. Checkout Silas Turnmire last week at the Appalachian fair taking a few good hits for this cowboy.

He is one of the toughest guys I know and we are thankful he's okay!

Spurs, Chaps, and cowboy hats... 🤩
Rodeo photography shouldn't just be about the action. These little details are what make rodeo.. well.. rodeo. 🤷‍♀️
Only thing missing is the waffle house after party.
If you know these handsome fellas... or the owner of these boots...tag them below. Feel free to share my posts but please do not screenshot them. Images can be found in the link in the comments or on my website by hitting the three lines in the top left corner and "find your rodeo photos"! Thanks. 🤍

Get hungry.

Instead of waiting on things to come to you, go out and work for them. Practice, train, put forth the effort... you will see geniune progress, as many of these cowboys have.

Photos from the Appalachian fair are ready to be viewed. To combat facebooks new link blocking, I have added a button on my photography website to find your photos from ALL rodeo galleries. Simply go to my website, hit the hamburger in the top corner, and hit "find your rodeo photos". Scroll until you find the gallery you're looking for!
I will also be putting the link in the comments.

Friendly reminders:
Not all photos I took are posted on my social media. In order to see all of the photos from the event, go look at the gallery.
Images are not free. You must purchase them through the gallery, but feel free to share this post and tag the people you know in the photos! Your new profile picture looks a lot better without my watermark across it. 😉

Now... GET HUNGRY... and checkout some awesome shots from the Appalachian fair rodeo in Gray, Tennessee.

Thankful Tuesday-
I challenge YOU to tell me something you're thankful for in the comments below.
"For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2 Corinthians 12:10

If you have been following along with my posts at all recently, or my moms, you've seen that I am struggling health wise. We still have no answers. I am tired. I am weak. I am bleh.

However, I am thankful for God pushing me. If you know me at all outside of social media (and probably even on social media) you know I am stubborn and ALWAYS doing something. I rarely slow down. I love my bed... but I also volunteer weekly for special needs kids. I travel for work every weekend and sometimes during the week. I am also a full time college student at UTK. It is always go, go,go.

While being sick, I am forced to slow down. Which... truthfully I might have needed as the semester started back up. So... I will say I am thankful for blessings in disguise.

While some days are harder than others, I managed to walk literally like three miles last week for the first time in weeks, and didn't even pass out. 🥳. I had a good long workout at the barn today with my gelding... I have gotten chickfila with family friends... I have almost got the Appalachian fair gallery completed as well as not one, but two new exciting things for all of my clients... I made a difference in a little boy who I volunteer for. I have been doing well in my classes so far.

Small progress is still progress, and I am thankful for that. I am thankful that even though I am "weak" that I am still able to be strong enough to push through and make progress. That I am slowly making it through whatever is wrong with me. That good things are coming.

Wet saddle pads, apple cider from the local farm stand, pigs, coffee, yellow cake with chocolate icing, lemonade, a much needed Dr. Pepper, new friends, old friends, getting to paint and draw again..

I am thankful for it all. 🤍

Tell me, what are YOU thankful for?

I don't know who needs to hear this but...
Cowboys do it best. 🤩
Photos from Newport, Tennessee at the Cocke County Fair are done and ready for purchase. Please remember to not screenshot my images. Your profile photo looks much cooler at full quality and without "this image is stolen" wrote across it. 😉
The gallery link is in the comments because meta hates small businesses. Go find your images there, or feel free to share this post but not screenshot. Tag your friends too!

I will be posting photos from the Appalachian fair in the coming days.
