Some Families Become Part of Your Photography Story

One of the greatest gifts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow through the years—and having the privilege of capturing the moments along the way.

I’ve watched this beautiful family grow, and getting to photograph them again while celebrating a wedding made this session even more special.

Dressed up, together, celebrating love, and surrounded by the beautiful Pittsburgh scenery…it was the perfect opportunity to capture just how beautiful this family truly is.

Years pass. Families grow. Life changes. But photographs give us a way to hold onto each chapter.

So grateful they continue to trust me to capture theirs.

Some sessions are just a little more special than others. 🤍

I've known this beautiful young woman's mom since grade school, and over the years I've been so fortunate to capture so many milestones for their family—from family portraits, to her mom's engagement, to her brother's senior session... and now it's finally her turn.

Watching families grow and being invited back to document life's biggest moments is one of the greatest gifts of being a photographer. It truly is an honor that I never take for granted.

And this girl... absolutely stunning inside and out. She has a smile that lights up every room and shines just like her momma. It was such a joy capturing this exciting chapter as she begins her senior year.
