This family session was so fun on Bald Head Island! We started in the woods and moved to the beach. Best of both worlds! They were so incredibly kind and I had a blast capturing their moments together in their happy place.

I've been asked a few times if I accept last minute bookings. The answer is yes when possible, however it is always best to schedule ahead of time. I only accept 3 bookings a week so I have flexibility and that fills up fast.

I'm always grateful and excited to work with my wonderful clients!

Want my photography hot take?

Stranger sessions are overrated and frankly uncomfortable. I know some people love them, and that's great.

But personally, I'd rather capture the love shared between those who have put in years of work to get to where they are. Never giving up on each other. Raising families together. Always choosing each other.

And when I get a couple like this, I always ask them what's their secret to a long marriage?
The answers are always sweet.
Communication. Love. Listening. Enjoying every day with each other. Knowing when to apologize. And just really loving life with your person.

I just a few short weeks, the flowers will be bloomed again at Old River Farms! Last time I went it was such a beautiful evening and I just can't wait to go again.

Story time!
Part of my process when someone books with me is to send over a quick questionnaire to get to know them and their goals better. It's actually a really enjoyable thing for me to read all the responses and to get a really good understanding of what's most important to capture during every session.

When reading this amazing groups questionnaire, I found myself resonating with lot of it. Focused on gratitude and the appreciation of seeing as many sunsets and sunrises you can. It really tugged at my heart and honestly felt like I could have written it myself.

I love connecting with people who truly value every moment and enjoying it with your loved ones. Watching the sun complete it's journey across the sky or welcome a new day. Laughing until your cheeks hurt. Being silly and not caring who sees. Breathing each other in and saying "I love you" a lot!! Capturing you exactly as you are, right now. It's a great blessing to photograph these moments.

It's really the little things in life that mean the most.

I'm so beyond grateful to have the wonderful clients I do, and to have a loving family that supports me along the way. For every single person who supports this dream of mine. And for you, thank you for following along.

And now I'm off to enjoy the day and soak up another sunset with my favorite people.
