There is something so pure about the way an entire family lights up around a new baby. 🥹

Everyone is watching her. Talking to her. Trying every silly sound and expression just to get one tiny smile in their direction.

And when she finally gives it to them, the whole group melts.

That was the sweetest part of this recent family session. Seeing how naturally everyone gathered around the newest little person in their family, completely taken by her and so happy just to be together.

A new baby changes the rhythm of a family. She becomes the center of so many little moments without even realizing it. The older kids want to make her laugh. The adults can’t stop looking at her. Everyone wants a turn holding her, loving on her and being the reason she smiles.

These are the seasons that feel so ordinary while you’re living them, but one day you’ll look back and realize how special they really were.🥰

The tiny bows.
The gummy smiles.
The way she fit perfectly into everyone’s arms.
The way the entire family looked at her like she was the greatest little gift.
