Just a few of the Iowa faces in the Remembering Our Fallen exhibit outside The Veterans Memorial Museum in Shenandoah. There are 5,501 in all who made the ultimate sacrifice for America. On display June 25-28 at 603 W Lowell Ave.

I was asked to photograph the setup of this massive display for The Veterans Memorial Museum in Shenandoah who is hosting the Remembering Our Fallen Memorial banners. An army of volunteers setup the 10 gallon water tanks and scaffolding poles that hold the banners. A 6 pm ceremony at the site (corner of Lowell Ave. & Elm St.) will be held this evening to open the display. 5,501 soldiers are honored from every state and U.S. territory. Each gave their life for America. They are so deserving of our respect and honor. Take time to visit, see their faces, appreciate their sacrifice, and say thanks to the Veterans Memorial Museum for hosting and Earl May Garden & Nursery for Sharing their parking lot. 🇺🇸🙏
