I snapped this photo last fall and it still takes my breath every time I see it. Ben reading a baby book, Eli in his coonskin cap he saved his pennies for, William racing back into the house, the other kids just around the corner playing a game.

Truly could never have imagined my life this happy, this full, and this beautiful.

I sure wish I could go back in time a to 2019 year old single mom me and just whisper “it all gets better- I promise”

We celebrated David’s birthday today (his actual birthday is tomorrow!) and I truly feel like I’m in shock at how fast this year went by. 😭

He stands and *almost* walks
He says mama, dada, outside, dog, all done, more, Ayla, Hudson, Eli, and up!
His favorite place to be is outside watching the chickens or playing in water
He eats EVERYTHING (and so much)
He is still breastfeeding with no end in sight
He loves to dance
He is 38 pounds and wearing 4T 🫠🤣

My last baby is one and my goodness 😭😭 my heart.

It’s something so so simple and that NOW (almost 3 years after this photo was taken) drives me CRAZYYYY.

Yup. I forgot to add coffee or tea to her mug. *facepalm*🤡

One of the things I’ve learned along the way through my brand photo career is that every. single. detail. matters.

Don’t worry- NOW I’m a crazy person about it and bring cold brew to every shoot we have a coffee shot included in the shot list- which is also a great reason to preplan your sessions! Having a shot list and a prop list is CRUCIAL for this kind of thing!

MODELS! 👯‍♀️

Why? Because when you add a human element- people can see themselves using the products more easily. They can see HOW the product is used and in what setting!

For this floral bag- needed a few photos with a model, AND white listing photos. The best of both worlds!

This windy beach brand sesh was absolutely what my soul NEEDED at 🥹🧡☀️🌊

This conference absolutely did what its name suggests. It was a full RESET on my business, my life, and my creativity. This styled shoot led by .co was the perfect way to end the week!

Kathryn is a Pinterest manager- but rather than have her in a studio behind a computer for your typical brand photos, Emily wanted to convey Kathryn’s love of crafts which totally ties into her Pinterest services! 📌 🎨 ✨☀️
