On people pleasing and boundaries..

In the year long Embodied Healer Reiki Master Mentorship Program, the students/mentees and I are bonded. We go through this powerful multidimensional portal together.. and it’s a gift.

They are a reflection of me.. and topics that always come up are ‘people pleasing’ and ‘being uncomfortable with setting boundaries.’ I feel like it’s part of the evolution of a healer. We are natural helpers so of course we want to make others happy.. but at what cost?

I personally have grown so much. I am proud of the strong boundaries I have set in all aspects of my life. No more people pleasing when it is not something I want to do or someone I do NOT want to interact with. As I learn and grow and evolve I feel more and more into how precious and valuable my energy is.

AND SO IS YOURS!

I was listening to this song by Toni Jones called, “Energy Budget” and all I could say was yessssss! 🎯🏆🤩🙌🏼

“I recieve what others blind spots are, teaching me about budgeting my energy and setting them boundaries

Im free from over explaining and justifying my choices.

My cutoffs aren't personal, they are spiritual.

The ‘people pleaser isn’t love but it is fear,’ gets me every time. We people please because of fear of judgement and/or rejection. But when you grow through this there is freedom.

I hope you are taking the time to honor yourself by setting healthy boundaries today.
