Before they arrive, there is already so much love.

There is something about photographing motherhood before a baby arrives that I never want to rush.

The anticipation.
The quiet moments.
The way a mother instinctively holds her belly.
The little details you don't yet know you'll miss.

And then, suddenly, they are here.

I wanted to preserve both sides of that story, the beauty of waiting and the tenderness of meeting this little person for the first time.

Not just photographs of a growing belly or a tiny newborn, but the beginning of a family's next chapter.

These are the photographs I hope become more meaningful with time.

Because one day, this tiny baby will be grown… and these images will still remember exactly how it felt to wait for them.

Two years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Steve for a brand shoot with Swarm Commander, and it was so special to now see his family featured on the cover of this month’s Neighbors of Wyndham & Twin Hickory magazine. Best Version Media🐝

I loved learning more about how Twin Hickory Honey , a simple backyard hive turned into a family business focused on education, sustainability, and caring for thousands of bees across the Richmond area.

Stories like Steve’s are one of the reasons I love being part of these publications so much. They give us the opportunity to highlight the people, passions, and local businesses that make our community feel connected and unique.
