Did you know Les Boutiques is a fundraiser?? Proceeds fund the Shreveport Opera and its resident artist program, the Shreveport Opera Express (SOX). Every year, talented young opera singers from across the country compete to participate for one of five coveted year-long positions here in Shreveport. In addition to performing in the Opera's mainstage productions for that year, SOX artists travel to hundreds of schools throughout the Ark-La-Tex and provide free musical performances to elementary schools highlighting important themes like anti-bullying.
